Ally's POV.
"She will be allowed to leave the hospital in two weeks. But for now she needs her rest." The doctor said to the rude mother.
How did Lilly survive with these people? My wrist was firmly guarded by the white cast and my lip stung and I could feel with each movement the bruises that covered my body.
"I want to see the man who did this to my daughter. Her...father." She pointed a judging finger at me.
"He's dead and he's also Lilly's real father. I'm here sister." I say bluntly, arms crossed completely over her rude attitude especially after the long days of pain.
"And I'm guessing that 'dad' did that to you as well," I knew it wasn't a question. She was trying to get to me, trying to get my to back down. But that wasn't happening.
"Yes, and I suggest you lower your voice cause Lilly is resting." I smirk to myself as her eyes flicker to Lilly and takes a deep breath. The husband stepped forward, he didn't look any nicer. Jay left when a man called for her and she said she would be back shortly.
"Look can you leave us alone with her, she's our family." He looks me up and down and sneers in disgust. Louis goes to defend me but I hold my hand up.
"By blood? No, and I'm her family, by blood so we can both stay here okay?" I don't even listen to his grumble of a response as I sit down beside her.
The machines hooked up to her beep every few seconds as I'm careful not to touch any of the wires. Her foster parents sit on the opposite side and we wait.
~~~~~~
A few hours have passed and Lilly finally starts to stir. She opens her eyes the drugs still making her groggy a bit. She looks around and sees us all. The mother was quick to jump in.
"Oh Lilly darling, you had us so worried! Oh my goodness you port thing you are so strong to have gotten through this," she hugged Lilly tightly but Lilly was looking at me.
I could see in her eyes what she was trying to say. The mum didn't know what she's been through, what we both went through.
"Mum, this is Ally, my sister, she saved my life. You should thank her, I wouldn't be here without her," Lilly smiled slightly at me still feeling a little bit sore. I gave her a small smile back and the Mum looked at me.
She mumbled a quiet thank you while her dad went to grab the doctors saying that Lilly was now awake. Two people came in and did a few tests and check up until the police came in to ask us questions.
Lilly explained her side of the story, how Dad took her, what happened at the house, the man in the room, the escape, everything.
The cops asked Louis and I few questions and wrote down what was said and soon left.
"The doctor said you'll be here for a week or so, so you just get some rest sweetie okay? This will all be over soon, soon it will all be forgotten." The mother strokes Lilly's hair as she closes her yes.
When I was sure Lilly was back to sleep I spoke to the mum but kept looking at Lilly. Jay walked back in saying she had to go back home to the girls, that we had to go.
"Your wrong you know, she's not going to forgot. It's apart of her life and memories now. This will either build or break her. Depends on how she takes it." I say honestly. I grabbed my stuff ready to leave, I was going to be back in the morning, I wasn't leaving her here too long with these people.
Louis steps in and says smiling. "But if she's anything like Ally here, she is a fighter and will be okay, it runs in the family"
