You Have your Mother's Eyes

You have your mother's eyes,

like a sea of green.

She was beautiful, not only to me.

You have your mother's eyes,

those are the last things I wish to see before I die.

Black looking at green.

I may not like you, but I must protect you, for her.

You have your mother's eyes, yet you are nothing like her.

You're just like James, don't you see?

Arrogant, lazy, seeker of attention.

Nothing good can come from him.

I know you didn't think, that I knew your mother.

And let me just say, Lily was the best thing to happen to me and yet she was worst thing as well.

For a Gryffindor should surely never involve themselves with a Slytherin,

so I had to let her go.

Let her be.

I protected you for her,

only her, because I Always loved her, even after all this time.

And you,

The Boy Who Lived,

Have your mother's eyes.

So let me stare at them while you watch me die.

Author Note:

Yup Harry Fucking Potter, I feel like changing things but I'll leave it like that. I was way to bored and lazy to come up with something way more creative. It did not rhyme all the time, but eh.
