Chapter 2>Aphmau

It's dark,it's humid-it's the Nether,those where my first thoughts when I woke up in this hell hole.Not much has changed.
I still don't really understand the whole Irene/Divine Warriors/Shad thing.
I still worry for Phoenix Drop.
I still miss Him...Aaron..

When you usually wake up its light,right?
Yeah well here in the Nether we aren't granted with that pleasure.

Shad pretty much owns the Nether,well apart from the Rebels,Laurence and Vylad-you go guys!, and it's usually Shad's fault anyway...

I mean I still don't have;
1) Sunny mornings
2)nice breakfasts,is that really too much to ask for?
3)Family accommodations,if this was a hotel I'd want Alina and Lilith here too
4)A shower

Somehow,even after all those times I have tried to send that list through to Shad,believe me-I've tried but the Shadow Knights don't listen to me..

A awkward silence falls on the two of us.Then I remember last night..how I pretty much told him everything about Me,Alina and my depressing life.

//Phoenix Drop,
The Day the Shadow Knights said "Hi!!!And did the famous 'Smash and Grab and wreck and be evil....type of thing...!"//

"Ghee ghee!"
"Aww you're so ticklish...and adorable!!"
Aphmau was where she wanted to be-with her daughters,Alina and Lilith.But that didn't stop her thinking about him.
About Aaron.
She loved the way he would pick Lilith up and swing her round.Lilith would giggle like the way only toddlers knew how,then he'd smile at her and she'd smile back too,knowing this is where she wanted to be.
She loved that.
She loved him.

Then the Shadow Knights came,charging,burning Aphmau grabbed Alina and Lilith and ran.
Knowing they were here for the relic and herself.
She wasn't going to let that happen.
Nuh-uh.
Not in a million years.
Running into the forest,she didn't notice a Shadow Knight hiding behind a oak tree...
Then more Shadow Knights came-she was surrounded..
Gene stepped forward "Hello,hello Irene"
"Get away from me now-Gene!"
Aphmau shouted,she put herself between Alina and Lilith and Gene.

"I'm not scared of you!And I never will be!!"
Aphmau said.
She started running again,this time carrying her daughters.

Then Katelyn ran up to her.
"Lord Aphmau-There is too many I'm sorry I couldn't protect Phoenix Drop.."
Katelyn told  her.
"All that matters is you are here now,unharmed.Phoenix Drop will be fine."

It was then Aphmau realised that she was slowly getting surrounded,and she had to move now.

"Garroth-take the girls and run!!"
She whispered to her guard.
"3..2..1!GO"

Aphmau and Katelyn ran,deeper into the forest,until they reached a clearing.
Panting for breath they sat down behind some bushes.
That's when Aphmau heard it-
Alina's scream.
She wasn't far away.
And she had been captured..

Katelyn scouted the area,then told her that they needed a diversion.
Aphmau used her last magical energy and a white glowing orb expanded,while the Shadow Knights where confused and blinded,Katelyn swooped in and grabbed Alina.
But they had forgotten about Gene,he made that split second decision to get Irene instead of the relic holder. 
"RUN SAVE YOURSELVES!!"-
We're the last words Aphmau shouted before she was knocked out cold.

I am a crappy Lord.
If I had protected Phoenix Drop then none of this wouldn't have happened.

"Erm,do you know when we get breakfast?"
My cell mate says,breaking the sound of faint screams from the torture rooms below.
"Oh whenever the Shadow Knoghts get off their lazy asses and get the leftover ghast food."
"They feed the ghasts?"
"Yeah they're like their pets-kinda.."
"Oh.."

I think he goes to sleep because he's really quite,and he just lies down in a corner.
Like a cat.
I like cats.

"Hey,since we're sharing a cell.."

I wake up,in the dark and dingy Nether.
Oh,Irene, yay (!)
He's got his hands on my shoulders and I am looking into his jet black eyes.
His hair is dark too,a coal-ish colour,really dark,very dark.
He looks into my eyes too...
"Aphmau?"He asks..

//FLASHBACK//
//Phoenix Island,
Aphmau and Aaron are having one of their many picnics with wee baby Lilith//
"Say my name..."Aphmau asks,doing puppy eyes.
"What?"Aaron replied.
"Well you said that my name was hard to pronounce!!"
"No I didn't!!I just said it was different that's all!!"
"Still...Say my name then!!"
"Okay..... Aphmau"

"Hey are you okay?You spaced out?"
I nod.
"Look I'm sorry I got your name wrong,just you looked-hey!"
I slam my lips on his.
Irene,I missed Aaron.

"Aaron I really missed you.."
"You shouldn't be doing this"
"What?!?Why not!!"
"Your daughter..the one that wasn't adopted-her father aren't you with him?"
"Oh Alina?"
"Ye".Aaron turns away..
"Aaron.."

Great how am I supposed to break this to him?
Alina is,like, your daughterrrrrr thanks for being there (!)

Screw this.
I am telling him.

"Aaron you baka-she's your daughter!!"
"Whaaaat?!?"
"Yeah she's your daughter and your gonna meet her..."I smile,while telling him.
"I'm never gonna let you go again.."
"Me too,I missed you too much..trust me I went crazy"
"I can see that.."
Aaron laughs and suddenly I know that everything is going to be okay...
......But for how long?
