Part 1: California

Myricle's POV

"California is so beautiful!" I awed at my amazing surroundings.

"I told you!" Diggy said grabbing my hand while holding the steering wheel.

We just got in California and we were driving around before we headed to campus.

I was so happy to be here with Diggy.

"Before we go to campus can we go to a mall?" I asked.

"You couldn't wait huh?" Diggy chuckled.

I love to shop.

"Nope, not at all." I replied.

"You better be lucky I know my way around California." He said.

"Yeah, yeah get to the mall." I said.

We just arrived at the mall and decided to go into a couple of stores.

All of a sudden I hear my name being called.

I didn't turn around because I was sure that no one knew me here.

Diggy turned around though.

"Oh no." He said.

"What?" I asked while turning around.

I was surprised to see Jessica Jarrel running over to us.

"Oh no." I said.

"Hey guys!" She said pulling us into a hug.

"Uh hey Jessica." I said awkwardly.

"What are y'all doing here?" She questioned.

"We are actually going to college here." I said.

Diggy stayed silent through the awkward moment.

"Oh me too!" She said.

"Uh ok." I said.

We stayed silent for a few minutes until she said something.

"Hopefully we go to the same college." She said.

"Yeah sure." I said.

"Baby we have to go." Diggy said grabbing my hand.

"Ok bye." I said walking away with Diggy.

"Bye!" She called before going the opposite way.

"That was so awkward." Diggy said once we reached the car.

"I know I can't believe she's here." I said getting into the car.

"We're never gonna see her again so let's head to campus." He said pulling off.

"Okay." I said.

"I wish we could share a room." I said looking at my paper that had my schedule , dorm room key , and more.

"Yeah me too." He said looking at his paper too.

"I'm gonna go find my dorm how about we meet up after." I said.

"Yeah sure." Diggy said kissing me on the lips before walking away.

I headed towards the other side where the girls were staying and headed inside.

There were other girls having conversations in the hallway.

There was a basketball coming towards my head and I catch it.

"Good catch." This girl with short purple hair said coming towards me.

"Uh thanks." I said throwing the ball back to her.

"I'm Crystal." She said holding her hand out for me to shake.

"I'm Myricle." I said shaking her hand.

"Nice to meet you. I have to go but I'll talk to you later." She said running away.

I just nodded and continued walking down the hall.

When I reached my dorm I stuck the card into the door handle and swung it open.

"Shit." I said when I seen who was standing in front of me.
