It was the day of the second Sevilla match, and Eleanor's press conference announcing her hiring would be the next day. The thought made her nervous so she focussed on the match statistics laid out in front of her. This was an important match, it would break Barcelona's record of consecutive games unbeaten - the very record she'd been devastated to see ended by the Blanco's just a year before. Ironic.

She watched with pride as the boys all strode onto the pitch, smiling at the determined looks on each of their faces. They knew they could do it, so did she. It didn't take long, however, for her smile to be wiped off her face as she watched Danilo take one step too many and kick the ball into the back of their own net. She groaned, not overly upset about the goal - they could still win - but dreading the effect this would have on the number 5's confidence and the team morale.

______ equalised and she cheered him on loudly, glad that the game was now on equal terms again but she watched Danilo carefully, seeing how his confidence was shattered. The team didn't seem to be flowing very well, leaving too many gaps behind them as they fought to gain an advantage, leaving Eleanor not too surprised when another goal was scored by the Sevillans.

Half time came by and she went to speak with Zidane; they discussed whether or not to leave Danilo on, wanting to give him the chance to make it up but knowing that his mindset wasn't the greatest. They sorted out the probable subs and what they needed to do before she went to speak to Danilo himself. She hadn't had much to do with him before so it was a little awkward.

"i'm sorry, I don't know what happened," he said as he saw her approach.

"Hey, it was an accident, one that we can deal with and get over. Even the best defenders do it sometimes but you can't let it get in your head. You are a Real Madrid defender, you're one of the best so get out there, put your head up and act like it." She told him, firmly.

In reply she got a determined nod, as he realised he wouldn't be subbed off as he had expected after his sub par performance. A tight smile was sent her way as he jogged off to join the others. She clasped hands with Zidane before she left herself.

"40 games unbeaten. I got you a cake so you better earn it," she joked, but they both knew how much they wanted it.

Her positive outlook was dampened straight away as the Sevillans got their third goal. They still had time. It wasn't until she listened to the words of the opposing fans that she found herself fuming. She clenched her fists as she tried to give the entire stand a death glare, listening to the taunts directed at Sergio and his mother.

It was disrespectful to anyone, but he was one of their own, he loved them and their club. To treat him this way was disgusting, especially as no other returning player was given such harsh treatment. Her eyes flicked straight to the defender concerned and she could see a frown on his face as he clearly tried to keep focused on the game, and not on the taunts.

Considering the nickname "red card Ramos," she guessed that him being angry was not a good thing in the slightest yet, considering how angry she was, she was wondering how he hadn't broken someone's leg yet.

So when Casemiro was fouled in the box and a penalty was awarded she grinned seeing Ronaldo let Ramos take it without any question. She watched with pride as Modriç gestured for him to stay calm and Marcelo grinned at him, looking as if he said "you are the best." She knew as he saw his face - still angry, but now calm and confident, that he would score it.

A laugh escaped her lips as she watched the panenka, seeing it as a huge fuck you to the Sevilla fans as the man ran over to them, hand on his ear. He ignored the rude gestures that he received and ran back to the centre circle, his real family hugging him in celebration.
