During my shower, all I could think about were how Rhett's hands felt against my skin last night, and how I hope to feel them all over me again tonight. Back in my room, I slip on the black dress and heels I wore a few months back. My hair air dries to its natural curls, as I apply my makeup.
Two hours later, there's a horn honking outside. I grab my purse from the closet and quickly exit the building. Liam's truck sits beside the curb and Rhett hops out of the backseat. He's wearing black skinny jeans, with a white shirt and leather jacket, looking like he belongs on the silver screen. His movie star good looks, still take my breath away every time I see him.
"You look so sexy." He whispers in my ear, before we both climb in the backseat.
I try to hide the blushing of my cheeks as Liam pulls out of the parking lot. "Where are we going?"
"A place called Sand Trap." Liam answers. "This is where we went last night."
"What's it like?" I question.
"Loud music, lots of dancing, and killer drinks." Nathan says with a smile. "You'll love it."
I glance over at Rhett, and he places his hand on my upper thigh, right where the hem meets my skin. If he keeps this up, I don't how long we'll both last before we're going at it in a bathroom stall.
Liam parks in the already crowded parking lot, and we walk up to the doors. Rhett walks behind me, subtly placing his hand on my lower back. When I glance behind me at him, he has a sly grin on his face; he knows what he's doing.
Inside, there is already a large crowd of people dancing and drinking. Liam leads us to a booth in a back corner. My eyes gaze around the building, taking in the neon lights and the haze from cigarette smoke lingering in the air. This definitely isn't a place I'd like to find myself at after tonight.
"What do you think, Care?" Liam questions.
I shrug my shoulders. "It's okay, I guess. Kinda smokey."
Nathan laughs. "I told you she'd hate it."
I roll my eyes. "I don't hate it, it's just different."
"Drinks?" Liam asks as he and Nathan stand.
Rhett nods his head and glances at me.
"Surprise me, Lee." I tell him, smiling.
Rhett sits on the outside of the booth and watches as Liam and Nathan make their way to the overly crowded bar, being hidden by a large group of people. He turns back and faces me, leaning in slowly. His lips connect with mine, as his hand wanders up my thigh. My hands wrap around his neck, bringing him closer. My stomach is doing summersaults, my core aching. I don't know if I'll be able to stand not kissing or touching him all night, at this rate.
"I need you." He whispers against my lips. "Soon."
I grin and place a kiss to his neck as he sucks in his breath. "We'll have to find a way."
I lean back in the booth, just as Liam and Nathan approach the table, drinks in hand. Four shot glasses are set on the table.
"Tequila?" I question.
Liam grins. "It'll be fun."
As we all take our glasses, we raise them to each other. Rhett hands me a lime, before pointing to the glass.
"Lick, suck, bite." He says pointing from the salt around the rim, to the liquor, to the lime.
I grin smugly at him, hoping Liam doesn't see, and Rhett just rolls his eyes.
