"Thanks for helping me out," I said to my friend.
He was the reason I was able to get Tanishq the job. He was the boss of the company that she was now working for.
"It's not a problem," he said.
I smiled at that.
"By the way, it's still quite obvious that you love her," he added.
"Ya, but she's never going to feel the same way," I said.
"Even after everything you did for, you feel like that?" He asked.
I nodded.
"I didn't do everything, just so she'll fall for me. I did it to help her out," I said.
"I still think there's a chance," he said.
"I don't," I said.
"Just give it and her some time," he said.
"Fine," I said.
"Now, help me get some paperwork reviewed, since you don't have work still," he said.
I laughed at that and got to work with him.
