Chapter Four: Oh Heavens Mrs. Evans

For the entirety of lunch, James continued acting like a civilized, charming, young man instead of the arrogant idiot that he was. Mrs. and Mr. Evans ate up everything James told them. He told them about school (of course making him look like a studious and polite student), his family and showered Lily with compliments which her parents found sweet. Lily just rolled her eyes and focused on her food. 

After lunch Mrs. Evans suggested that we go up to Lily's room and have her show us a film, which James claimed he never seen before. Lily obeyed her mum and lead us up to her room with a sour look on her face. Once in her room, Lily silently put in a film and settled down on her bed to watch it. "What's a film Lily?" James asked her. I kept my mouth shut knowing he was trying to get Lily to talk to him. He knew what a film was because Remus had shown us one before.

Lily just ignored him and watched the film. I sat down on a chair she had in her room and watched as James sat on the bed and slowly scooted towards Lily. She immediately caught on to what he was doing and pushed him away from her. "You know I heard this is what muggles do on their first dates." Lily just looked at James and smiled. "James," Lily said. For a second I stupidly thought she would say something sweet. "Yes Lily?" James looked at her hopefully. "Shut the fuck up."  I chuckle and earn a glare from James while Lily turns her attention back to the film. I quickly get up, "I'm gonna go...use the toilet," I say hurriedly and walk out. Outside the room I can hear Lily start yelling at James, no doubt because he said something she didn't like.  I look around and quickly find the room I'm looking for.

Once I emerge from using the toilet I head back to Lily's room only to see Mrs. Evans opening the door to Lily's room. "Lily!" She exclaims,"what have I told you? You need to use protection if you're going to have sex!" My eyes widen as I look from behind Mrs. Evans into Lily's room. Lily is on top of James on the bed. At first glance it really does look like they're about to shag but then I see the glare Lily's giving James. Even though he's about to be punched in the face, James has the widest grin on his face. "MUM!" Lily yells at her mum. "We're not-" Lily starts to say but is interrupted by her mum. "Hold on a minute," Mrs. Evans goes to what I assume is her room and comes back and throws something at Lily and James. "I don't need any grandkids yet. Sirius, would you like to accompany me for some tea while they have some private time?" I try to keep a straight face and not laugh, "um yeah, that would be great."

Mrs. Evans walks down the stairs and I'm about to follow her when I see James hold up the thing Lily's mum threw at them which I recognize as a condom. "I've heard about these, they're muggle things, would you like to try it?" James says earning a punch straight in the face from Lily. I chuckle as I make my way down the stairs after Mrs. Evans.

An hour had gone by before Lily and James came downstairs. How Lily had put up with him alone for that long I'll never know. I was happy to see the two as sitting with Mrs. Evans was very awkward. We talked a little while she made us tea. I tried to put in a good word for James even though she seemed to love him already, seeing as she believed they were upstairs shagging and gave absolutely zero fucks.

"Well we better be off Mrs. Evans, it was nice seeing you," James smiled as he was pulled into an embrace. "It was lovely seeing you again dear, do stop by again before you leave for school, won't you?" James agreed before Mrs. Evans turned to me,"nice to meet you Sirius, feel free to stop in with James anytime you'd like."  She gave me a warm smile which I returned.

"Lovely Lily, a pleasure to see you again as always," James gave her a little smirk as he quickly lifted her hand and kissed it before she could protest. Lily sent him a glare and rolled her eyes before heading up the stairs. "Goodbye love!" James called after her. When she didn't reply Mrs. Evans called after her. "Lily! Say goodbye to your guests." From up the stairs we could hear a door slam shut. Mrs. Evans sighed before turning back to us.  James and I said our goodbyes to Mrs. Evans and flew back to the Potter household.

Once we arrived we went straight to James' room. "How the hell did you get her mum to like you?" Now that we are alone I can't help but ask. James just shrugs with a wide grin,"I guess you could say I'm lady charmer." I roll and eyes and chuckle,"well it doesn't seem to work on Lily, but I'm sure you could shag her mum if you wanted." My comment earned me a smack across the face with a pillow. "Shut it, but you are right I suppose," James joked. I grabbed the pillow from James and whacked him right between the legs as I said,"what were you and Lily doing upstairs? Surprised she put up with you that long." I chuckle as James falls to his knees and holds his junk.

"Well she did do that," James says when he recovers. We laugh as James tells me what all they did up in Lily's room. "Unfortunately, we didn't use the muggle device but I did keep it for next time," says James as he pulls the condom out of his pocket. I chuckle and shake my head," like she'd ever let you shag her."

Next chapter will start to be more wolfstar. This was just kind of a filler chapter.
