Sanyukta's phone buzzed with Aryan's name.

"Where are you Sanyukta?" "All are waiting for you" "How can you be so careless" "You know how important this meeting is for us" Aryan said

"Aryan..please listen to me" "I can't come" "Sara is admitted in hospital" "She is critical" Sanyukta said

"Ohh..what did your husband do now?" "I am sure he only did something and your daughter is in hospital" "Anyways...the meeting wont take much time" "Ask your businessman husband to stay with your daughter" Aryan said

"Excuse me...who the hell are you to order me?" Sanyukta said

"Your friend...but right now your boss" "I want you here in next half an hour" Aryan said

"I wont come Aryan" "I have made myself clear" "Sara needs me..." Sanyukta said

"I sense this is as a ploy of your husband" "So that this meeting gets ruined because of your absence" "Such a cheap mentality your husband has..." Aryan said

"Shut up...not a word against Randhir" "I said...I will not be able to come" "That's final" Sanyukta shouted

"But your presence is much needed" "You are GM of the company Sanyukta" Aryan said

"Before GM I am mother of my child" "And I dont care about the project and meeting Aryan" "I just dont care..." "All I know is my daughter is hospital and I wont leave her alone at any cost" "Good bye" Sanyukta disconnected the phone

She sat down on bench

*few days ago*

"You look upset" Aryan said

"Hmm...yeah...a bit.." Sanyukta replied

"You had a fight with your husband again" Aryan sipped his coffee

"Hmmm..." Sanyukta replied

"Why?" "What happened now?" Aryan asked

"Sara is not well...so I asked Randhir to stay back home for today as I have this important project going on" "He straightaway refused" Sanyukta said

"Where is Sara then?" Aryan asked

"I dropped her to Vidushi's place" Sanyukta replied

"I just dont know whats wrong with Randhir" Sanyukta said.

Aryan kept his hand on hers.

Sanyukta felt uncomfortable and she withdraw her hand immediately

"Why dont you file for a divorce Sanyukta?" Aryan said

"Divorce..." She looked at Aryan immediately.

Aryan again took her hand into his and pressed it lightly

"See Sanyukta...I wont give you wrong advise" "You are my friend..." "Why are you suffering so much" "End it all..." "Divorce him..." Aryan said

"What will I do after that?"
Sanyukta said and withdraw her hand again from his hold

"Come on Sanyukta...you are an independent woman" "Its not tough for you..." Aryan said

"No...I cannot do this" "No Aryan..." "Divorce is such a big step" "And...what about Sara?" "She needs both of her parents" "Her future will be ruined" Sanyukta said

"What parents?" "When her father dont give a damn for her..." "Its better if you break this meaningless bond of yours" "And trust me...this is good for Sara's future too" "Look at me.." "I took right decision at right time in my life" "I divorced my wife...but I am looking after my son single handedly" "Its not tough at all.." "And Sanyukta...I am there for you..." "Whenever you need me...I will be there for you always" Aryan cupped her cheeks.
