"What is the problem?" the police ask.
"Uh..." I start.
"I raped her. Please arrest me." Henry starts to break down. Tears fall from his cheeks.
"It's fine! It was an accident!" I plead to the police. No. Henry doesn't deserve this. He was hypnotized. He didn't mean it.
"Well we will have to take you to juvy then." the police respond while handcuffing him.
"And rape is never an accident." another police officer makes a broad statement.
"I'll take you to the ER." one of the policemen says to me in a gruff tone of voice.
"Okay." I start to cry. My best friend is gone and I lost my virginity to a hypnotized demon in the body of Henry.
"Charlotte, it's okay. I love you. I always have. I wish I deserved you." Henry starts to cry as the police haul him off.
"Enough with the BS kid. Have fun in juvy." the police drag him out the door. I see his expressive brown eyes look at me with shame and guilt.
Henry loves me?!!? Oh my god. How have I never noticed.
I ponder this in the car on the way to the ER. Why? Why does Henry love me?
