What you do for Valentines Day

What you do for Valentine's Day...

Liam - Liam takes you out for the day, just the two of you.  He wants you to himself for the whole day and wants to keep it fairly relaxed and low key, but romantic just the same.

You start the day by having breakfast at a small café with a view of a beautiful body of water.  As you look out over the water, the late morning light making the wave glitter, you feel Liam's eyes on you instead.

You spend the first half of the afternoon shopping in small boutiques around town, one of your favorite things to do together.  You laugh at the strange things you find and document them all with a quick picture.  Every now and again, his sneaks a quick kiss on to your lips which make you giggle.

For lunch, Liam takes you to a small park where the two of you picnic in a small gazebo, watching the serene world around you.  When you start to feel cold, he moves to your side and pulls you into him, unzipping his jacket so you can huddle close to him.

You walk to the nearest theater and he takes you to see the newest romcom, the cheesiest one there is.  You make fun of the movie, barely containing your laughter at each others comments.

After the film, he takes you to a restaurant of your choice for dinner; nothing too fancy but secluded and romantic.  You eat under fairy lights and talked in hushed tone about anything and everything.

The last place he takes you is a pier where the two of you watch the sunset just like you did on your first date.  You lean your head on his shoulder and he pulls you close to him, his arm securely around your waist as you watch the beautiful colors of the day fading around you.

After the long day of being out and about with your favorite person, you both head home and fall asleep wrapped tightly in each others arms.

Louis - Every year the two of you agree that you won't get gifts for each other, but of course that never happens.

You wake up in the morning to an empty bed and a small gift wrapped box sitting on Louis' empty pillow.  You prop yourself up and smile to yourself as you open the gift to reveal a beautiful silver band engraved with a cursive L. You slide the ring onto your finger and head downstairs with Louis' gift in your hand.

You find him in the kitchen drinking tea and you slide the gift in front of him.  He smiles up you and gapes when he find the new silver watch you got for him.  He thanks you with a sweet kiss, his hands firmly on your waist.

You start the annual tradition of lying on the couch next to each other watching romantic films all day long.  After a long marathon of Nicholas Sparks based movies and several steamy kissing sessions, the two of you get ready for a night out.

He takes you to the your favorite restaurant even though it's his least favorite and you think the might couldn't get any better.  Louis doesn't complain once about the place like he normally does and you laugh when he crinkles his nose at the food when it arrives, giving him a small peck to let him know you appreciate his sacrifice.

When you return home you find six red roses, each one in its individual vase, set on the kitchen table.  Each one has a small card attached with one sentence written on it.
