When I was in 5th grade, I got put into the class being taught by a new teacher (who was not only new to the school but also new to teaching).

She was absolutely awesome PERIOD.

At the end of the year, she created a CD with all of our class memories in it (which wasn't a huge surprise we knew about it) HOW AWESOME IS THAT (I dunno if she did that for any of her other classes after our class) which she gave to us at the end of the year with personalized messages written on the CD.

Imma rewatch that CD so I can tell you guys all the awesome stuff that happened (I think it's an hour long too wow)

|~*~|lol time skip here I guess because I'm watching the CD|~*~|

Omg do I have the catch for you guys

5th grade was hella lit wow

This wasn't in the CD but I remember doing these vocab plays in the class and my group's play was the best play (not saying that because I wrote it/majority of it but because the class all agreed it was a five-star musical)

Our play took place in the Middle Ages and it was about two knights who went on a quest to find some ancient treasure that the King longed for. These two knights had different mindsets so they argued a lot which caused me (narrator #1) to scream at one point in the play which led to a cave collapsing and WOW THERE'S THE TREASURE 👌👌👌 quality humor

NOW TO THE STUFF THAT WAS ACTUALLY IN THE CD

We did two novel study projects: one board game project and one cereal box project. Essentially, you were supposed to read a book, and then create a board game/cereal box based off of that book. Those projects were really fun.

For the board game project, I read The Tale of Desperaux. I don't remember how my board game was played, but I do remember that it had a very deep message about destiny at the end when a player won. I can't find out what that destiny was, because I was proud of my board game and really loved it so I decided to donate it as a class example.

For the cereal box project, I read Chasing Vermeer. (I remember really loving this series when I read it.) This project was more fun to present than the board game project, because we presented our cereal box as if we were filming a commercial (it also took up the majority of the CD).

I got to smile a lot during that part of the CD (because I also volunteered to be a part of other people's commercials) and it really scared me because I know I'm still considered cute now but holy shit I looked like a weapon capable of mass destruction when I smiled (which was probably how my mind became a safety hazard *roll credits*)

AND I KNOW MY VOICE IS STILL HIGH-PITCHED NOW BUT HOLY SHIT MY VOICE COULD PIERCE THE HEARTS OF ALL WHO HEARD ME

HELL SHE EVEN PIERCED MY HEART

SHE COULD'VE KILLED HER FUTURE-SELF TODAY

Ok low-key I'm actually starting to think that Little Me had future-vision

She probably knew that her cuteness would be enough to end my suffering in the future when I see her again

But if that isn't enough to convince you I have more

(Prepare yourself for me getting too into this xD)

I believe she subtexted me during her cereal box commercial

And I quote:

"The front of the box was so artistic and creative that we had to make the flavor attractive, or else no one will buy our cereal."

If this ain't me I don't know what is

THIS AIN'T NO COINCIDENCE YOU GUYS I'M TELLING YOU

At the end of my commercial I ran around and sang "DON'T YOU FORGET ABOUT US KIDS PEACE OUT" and then the kid who volunteered to hold my cereal during the commercial said "I should do this too" and ran off the screen with me

That part got cut and put at the very end of the CD of course as an adorable farewell

Anyway back to other cereal commercials

In one of the commercials, the kid asked another kid what they wanted the price of their cereal to be

Spokesperson (child presenting): We'll ask the public! *points* How much do you want for this cereal?

Random Child He Pointed To: I want it for $4.99.

Spokesperson: $10.99!

Random Child: *holds their hands up like bitch*

That part made me crack up when I was watching it lmaoooo

Then later in the video there was an evil laughs compilation which sounded pretty cute but everyone's laugh sounded the same

Either they ended their laugh with coughing or they just made some weird cackle while shaking

(Lol I'm guilty of the former)

So once I left for middle school, I became the legend in her classroom because apparently I was her favorite. The kids who came to middle school later and knew me said that she had pictures of me in her room.

I did eventually go back to see her when my brother went to visit the school before he started attending, but I didn't take a good look around, which I'll do a better job of next time.

Alright and that's the end of another long chapter. Up next (because I haven't been writing for so long I actually have chapters in mind ready to be published) is about how my generation seems to luck out (which I mentioned in the chapter before the previous chapter).
