"D-dad?"I stuttered as he came closer and I wanted to move possibly run but my body wouldn't move out of fear

"What did I say about calling me that?! You lost that chance when you killed your mother!"his hand connected with my cheek sending me to stumble backwards

"I-im sorry"I cried trying to caress my cheek to dull the pain
"Well I don't care!" He kicked me in the stomach sending me to the ground

As he kicked me I trued to use what josh taught me but the pain was too much "please stop!RUTH!" I shouted but was cut off by his fist to my face

The lasting I remembered was Ruth calling my name and hits in the background before the darkness consumed me

Victor's P.O.V

I was in my office still doing work after lily left to go shopping over an hour now.I was getting up when I heard whispering

"He's not in here come on" what the hell "put her in her room"

"Ruth?" I say as I opened the door only her ,"y-yes b-boss?"she stuttered.wait Ruth stuttering what's going on

"what's going on?" I cross my arms over my chest

"I...I..um...you see..lily..um"I cut her off

"what's wrong with lily?!"I slightly ragged uncrossing my arms trying not to think negative

"She.. Um-" but was cut off by josh coming down the stairs asking "she's still knocked out is he here?" His eyes widen with fears at the sight of me

"WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH MY PRINCESS?!!!!!!!" I roared now as I wonder what's wrong with lily why is she knocked out and why is Ruth stuttering

"Her father knocked her out sir" Josh said trying to sound not scared but fear was dripping at his every word

"What did you just say?!" I stepped closer to him so we're face to face cause I know how much of brothers we are he extremely afraid right now

"Her father attacked her while we weren't" he was cut off by a scream from upstairs. Lily's scream

I was the first to dash for the stairs and into my bedroom and as I enter I realised she was having a nightmare as she thrust around in the bed tears running down her face

"Lily" I shake her but she didn't open her eyes

"lily!" I shake her furiously and I saw Ruth stepping forward to help her best friend but I shoot her a death glare stopping her in her tracks

Lily's tearful eyes snap open as she saw my face she immediately jump into my lap clutching onto me as I do with her

"Get out I'll deal with you later" I say to Josh and Ruth.

They nodded silently and exited as I rocked my baby back and forth calming her down as I kissed the top of her head

Lily's P.O.V

"Mommy can we go buy ice cream"a little girl said but she looked exactly like me but as the lady turned I gasped there stood

She was smiling down at me ,this brought tears to my eyes."we'll go tomorrow honey" she said picking me up
