"Him"

I walked by him one day, and I told him I liked his tie. And he said thanks with a smile on his face. We spoke once in a while, either a quick hey, or a simple wave. Another day, he was wearing a black bow tie, and I fell a little harder. A mutual friend  had introduced us, and I'm grateful of her. Now he's all that's on my mind, all the time. His eyes are the perfect shade of blue, and I hate blue eyes. The way the light hits his eyes, it's unique. His glasses don't hide his beautiful eyes. The color of his glasses brings out the shade of blue I've grown to love. It's not only his eyes, or his beautiful smile, or his voice that calms you down. He's not only beautiful on the outside, but also in the inside as well. But all great things have something bad. In this case I'm in love with him, and he likes another girl.

Thanks for reading my poem "Him". This entire poem is true, it just took me a while to get it into words. I fell in love, but he likes another girl. Just another teenage problem. </3
