"No, don't look at that Tyler!"
Tyler was laughing "Why not? I was actually quite curious about that"
Josh groaned.
Tyler took a seat on Josh's lap. Josh's eyes widened and he almost chocked on his breath.
"What's the theme slash topic for this one?" Tyler asked.
Josh needed a moment to recover from being this close to Tyler. Tyler was goddamn sitting in his lap.
"Josh?"
Josh blinked and shook his head lightly "Right, right... What did you ask?"
Tyler chuckled "What are you making?"
"Oh? It's just, ah, it's nothing really" Josh smiled, hoping Tyler would leave the subject.
"C'mon" Tyler lied his head on Josh's shoulder; it looked like an uncomfortable pose, but Tyler managed to make it work "Tell me"
Josh sighed, giving up "It's an edit of you"
Tyler rolled his eyes, sitting up straight again "I can see that. What's the theme?"
"Just, uh, you in a flower field, I guess" Josh shrugged so lightly it was completely unnoticeable.
"Aww!" Tyler grinned "What colors are you gonna use? Yellow? Pink? Babyblue?"
Josh chuckled "I dunno. I was thinking yellow, maybe? But your skirt is making me think about leaning more to pink"
"Well, I'll like it either way" Tyler stood up and placed a soft kiss on Josh's right cheek.
And Josh fell off his chair.
Why the hell does he keep on falling (in love)?
...
Tyler and Josh had a day off, so they decided to drive out of LA into the places empty of people.
Josh was driving and Tyler was quietly sitting next to him.
They didn't talk much; they just enjoyed the music on the radio.
Heathens started playing and Tyler jumped, him mouth wide open:
Josh laughed and turned up the volume to maximum. Tyler started jumping up and down in his seat and singing along to his own song.
Josh wanted to remain calm for the sake of safe driving and just moved his head along with the beat, mentally playing drums.
When the song came to an end, Tyler screamed happily and finally stopped jumping.
"I'm so happy when they play our songs" Tyler said, lied back in his seat and head turned to Josh.
"I see" Josh laughed "I know"
Josh took a surprising sharp left turn and Tyler screamed in shock.
"What the hell, Josh?!"
"Let's walk" Josh shrugged, stopping the car.
"You could've just said that, weirdo" Tyler rolled his eyes; he unbuckled his seatbelt.
They exited at car and walked into the nearby field, fingers intertwined.
They stopped in a large field of yellow flowers and yellow flowers only. The field was surrounded by a perfect plain green forest of pine trees. The green color of the trees complimented the yellow of the billion flowers in beautiful contrast. And the final touch to the loveliness of the sight was the clear blue color of the sky with one, maybe two, tiny cotton clouds.
Tyler's jaw dropped when he saw it all. There was just one problem...
Tyler ran back to the car, much to Josh's confusion; Josh frowned.
Tyler wasn't back for quite a while; around ten minutes probably. Josh was starting to get worried. He started to approach the car.
"Tyl-"
Tyler came running back in a girly, jumpy way before Josh could call out for him.
He went to change his skirt. Mint green really didn't fit the colors of the nature around them. Tyler replaced it with a lightpink one.
The skirt rode up on his thighs every other second from the movement and the light breeze.
He had something black hanging around his neck, though. Josh couldn't tell what it was.
"Nobody's gonna see you here, Tyler" Josh said when Tyler came close enough to him.
"It's for you" Tyler said with a smile.
Josh blushed.
He now saw what was the black hanging around Tyler's neck.
A large camera.
"You never use this, Josh" Tyler said, holding the camera up in his right hand.
"There's nothing pretty to take pictures off" Josh shrugged "This field is pretty nice, though. I could take a few shots of this nature"
Tyler gulped "What about me?"
Josh's eyes widened. He knew what Tyler meant, but he decided to play stupid (for no particular reason) "What about you?"
"You could take pictures of me in the field" Tyler's voice was ever so small; shy even "If you'd like to"
"I- I-" Josh bit his bottom lip "It'd be a pleasure"
Tyler blushed.
Josh took the camera off Tyler and hung it around his own neck. He backed off away from Tyler and turned the camera on.
They were taking pictures for three hours straight. Tyler was a bit shy at first, but he soon got used to the camera. Josh put Tyler in different poses and Tyler would always giggle at Josh's ideas.
Josh's top three were hard to pick, but he managed.
One was from inside the pine forest, of Tyler leaning against the tree on the border of the forest and the field, looking into the distance. The picture was a bit darker than others they took due to the shade the trees made and the sunshine on the flower field came into the picture with lovely contrast.
Another was of Tyler lying in between the yellow flowers, a huge smile on his face and his eyes squeezed tightly shut. It showed Tyler from head to a little under his knees. His skirt was a great addition in color to the yellow flowers. The darkgreen of the flowers' stems was barely visible in the shade the petals made, but it was still there and gave a special touch. Tyler's rosy lips went with the skirt's color. The white of Tyler's sweater broke the colorfulness in a somehow needed light. Tyler's lightly tanned skin was heavenly illuminated by the sunshine.
The last picture on Josh's top three was probably Josh's favorite. Josh as the cameraman was pretty far away from Tyler in this one. Tyler stood in the middle of the field. His fingers were brushing on the tops of many flowers. If he weren't as tall, his skirt would be lost in the tall flowers. His back was facing the camera and his gaze was somewhere on the borderline between the forest and the field, meaning his head was slightly leaned down. The flowers were screaming in color and were basically the first, lower third of the picture. The middle third was the plain, darkgreen the forest brought. It gave the slightest darkness in the picture, adding in the nice contrast. The third third of the picture was the happy blue sky. There was a single teeny tiny white cloud in the sky; in the top right corner of the picture. The picture was large and made Tyler look small and adorable.
Josh couldn't decide whether he'll post the pictures on social media or keep them secure and close to his heart; for his eyes only.
