Of course this would happen to you. Looking over at your partner you let out a sigh ringing out your (h/l) (h/c) hair of any water left. Tobi; your partner, and you were sent to collect a bounty, and although you got the bounty you ended up soaked regardless. Somehow it was you who ended up flying into the lake by an attack, your first thought was the man had back up, but no it was your partner whom of which 'accidentally' hit you.
"Tobi is sorry (y/n)- chan.." you hear the man child's voice play out. Rolling your eyes you stay quiet, as you try and ring out your clothes as best you can.
"It's fine Tobi. Let's just cash the bounty and head back." You spoke standing as you look over to the orange masked man.
"Does (y/n)- chan forgive Tobi?" Closing your eyes you sigh as you nod your head yes. "Hey! Hey! (Y/n) senpai can we stop for dumplings?" Tobi asks as he comes to a running stop right in front of you.
"Yes Tobi. We can get dumplings." You smile at him, truly forgiving him for the actions. Watching him in battle and now, you would get this gut feeling that he held more power than what he showed. Not that it matters to you, you just minded your own business. The Akatsuki was a home of sorts, to you. You could say you got along with pretty much everyone there and although you and Konan were the only females within the group you could honestly say that; that held no burden. You and her both held your own strength no matter your gender.
The warmth of the sun rained down on you, lighting up the road with beams of light that passed through the trees. Tobi carried the body as you walked beside him basking in the rays as you could feel yourself drying.
"Erm.. (y/n) senpai? Isn't that Kisame and Itachi senpai?" Looking up as you pause your walking you see the two cloaked figures blocking your way. Looking over Kisame you watch a he gives you a toothy smirk and a nod. Kisame had to be the one you got along with the most, you just seemed to hit things off when you met. Not in a romantic way that is.
Smiling back you give a small wave acknowledging him before your eyes move over to his partner. Itachi Uchiha. Red irises burn into your skin as you lock gazes with the sharingan user. Now Itachi was on the lower end of people you got along with, hell you got along with Hidan more than the Uchiha man. Taking in his form, you noticed how relaxed he look as he rested one arm out of his cloak, a rather non-emotional look to his face as you came to a stop in front of the two.
"What are you guys doing here?" You ask looking between the two men. It was bad enough you got stuck with a bounty mission; those are for Kakuzu and Hidan normally, but now something had to be up if Leader- sama sent these two.
"Hey now, why so hostel, (y/n)?" You gill fitted friend asks, only to receive a slight glare back.
"You know i hate bounty missions Kisame, now are you going to tell me why you're here or am I going to have to pry it from your mute partner?" You knew Itachi wasn't a mute, or that he would even speak to you, but you still threw a few digs at him now and then; with Kisame present of corse.
"Come on (y/n) don't be like that," Kisame smirked as his steel eyes looked down at you in humour, "Pein sent us to take the bounty."
