"Honey I'm hom-" I froze to see the kitchen like this because it's a definition of disaster

"Joan?" I put my back on the chair and walked inside the kitchen more. I chuckled secretly to see Joan sleeping with her head on her arms. Her face was covered with flour here and there , can't help but admiring her cute sleeping side.

I turned my head to the oven and saw a brownies and cupcakes inside there. It's still 15 minutes more. I walked to her closer and put her bangs to her ear. I kissed her cheek and her eyes slowly opened.

"You home?" She asked and I smiled nodding

"Why are you baking?" I asked and she sat up straight looking at the oven

"Dad's birthday" She answered and walked to the oven

"Right.. I forgot about that" I really forgot a lot of things because of the hectic of work. She suddenly slipped her arms to my waist and hugging me tightly

"You tired?" I asked hugging her back and stroking her hair

"A little bit"

"Go wash up and I'll take this out after it finish" I said and she shook her head

"I'm the one who should say that to you not you to me" She poked my chest and looked up to me. I stole a kiss from her lips and smiled

"It's 10 Joan , you can bake tomorrow"

"We're going to surprise him tonight Nate , I love when it's freshly bake" She pouted and I chuckled

"Right.. We need to surprise him"

"Go wash up will you?" She pushed me but I pulled her back into my arms

"Nah I want to be with my wife for now"

"But I don't want to be with you , you stink" She gave me a teasing smile

"I remembered you want cheesecakes these days from the newest cafe down the street right?" I asked and her face light up

"No way.." She said and I chuckled

"Might want to check the living room" I said and she slipped from me in seconds. I followed her out from the kitchen and saw her looking at the box disbelief

"How did you get this? They always sold out" She asked as she took the box to the kitchen

"I have my way wifey"

"Thankyou" She smiled widely and kissed my cheek

"Welcome , now why don't you try it?" I said and she opened the box. She walked to the side to take knife from the drawer

"So excited" She squealed as she cut the cake

"Try it first" She suddenly picked the small piece and fed it to me

"Good" I said and yes the cheesecake was sweet and just very appealing

"This is heaven" She said enjoying her first bite

"So can I get more kisses?" I asked and she turned to me looking at me teasing

"Nope" She shook her head and I pulled her to me. She bit her lip and slowly leaned to me. She put her arms around my neck and I crashed my lips to her. I picked her up and her legs immediately wrapped around my waist. I put her on the kitchen table and kissed her deeply

"I love you so much" I said to her and our forehead touched. We looked at each other eyes

"Love you too" She suddenly took the cake with her index finger and fed it to me. I sucked it from her hand and she chuckled

"Don't tease me with that eyes and lips , we won't be able to surprise your dad tonight" I warned

"We can be late" She trailed her finger on my chest and said with a seductive tone

"Joan.."

"Hey love" She started to throw her apron away and slowly opened her shirt buttons one by one. I looked at her warning her again

"Babe" I warned again

"Yes babe?" She asked and she already finished unbuttoning all but it only gave me a small tiny view of her skin

Ding

"Nate?" She raised her eyebrows and I caught her lips again. I picked her up and brought her up to the room. You knew what's next right..

"We have to go Nate , come on don't be lazy" Joan said and I'm currently laying on the bed. We both already took a shower and now it's a really good time to sleep

"Nate!"

"Yeah?" I asked closing my eyes

"Come on Nate let's go" Joan pulled my leg and I got up because of that

"Give me a kiss first"

"You'll get your kiss after surprising" She said as she took her bag , she walked to me and held my hand pulling me out from the room. We walked down together and she put her brownies and cupcakes into a box and we're ready to go

"Nate.." Joan looked at me raising her eyebrows

"Yes beautiful?"

"Come let's go"

"I need kisses first" I said and turned my head to her

"Come on big boy , you're not 5 anymore right?" She asked and I looked at her disbelief

"One kiss"

"No"

"One kiss" I pointed at my cheek and she shook her head

"Come here you!" I caught her before she can runaway to the car. I pulled her to my arms and just trapped her there

"Nate" She punched my stomach

"Give me a sweet kiss then I let you go" I whined and she tiptoed giving me a peck on my lips

"That's not enough"

"Fine" She cupped my face and kissed me deeply until we're out of breath

"I love you so much" I whispered

"Me too" She smiled

"Let's go surprise the old man" Joan held my hand and we walked out from our house to our car

My life is just perfect with this girl
