SHAWNS POV
I wake up to the sound of birds and the ocean and see that braidon is still sleeping in my arms I gently wake him
"Morning beautiful" I say hugging him tighter
"Uuu what time is it" he moans
"I'm not sure" I say looking out the window
"Then why am I awake" he says rolling over to face me
"I do t know...why are you awake?" I say sarcastically
"I'm up cuz.... Never mind I'm up now" he says giving in
"There we go"I say hugging him
"So whAt are we doing today" he asked
"Wait you woke me up and don't even have plans for the day" I say acting mad
"Yep" he says kissing my nose
"Uggggggg I hate you"I say rolling over
"I know you love me I know you care" he fake sings
"Ok I'm up" he says getting up and going to his suit case
"Get in a bathing suit I have something booked" I say getting up
"But-you... Said?. Ok" he says confused
I smile to my self seeing that i confused him I go up behind him and hug him from behind
"I was kidding earlier I do have plans for today"I wiser in his ear
"And what may they be"he asks
"They are a surprise" I say letting go and getting a shirt I slip my shirt on and grab braidon by the hand and we walk down to the beach where there is a boat waiting for us
"Um is that for us" he asks
"Yep"I say releasing his hand to go talk to the driver of the boat
He agreed to take us out on the mwater and to stop at a private island with all sorts of animals for a lunch
The driver tells us we are good to go so I motion for Shawn to come get on the small yacht (picture below in a/n) we sit together and I ask for 2 colas (a/n that's what they call them over in the Dominican and they are soooooo good) the captain introduces the crew
"Our skipper here is Pablo our tender is Pavo and I'm Pedro they call us the crew of p" he remarks slightly chuckling at the name he gets behind the helm and they let the ropes off the dock and we drift out of the small bay he switches on the music and it starts to play some fun up beat vacation music I look out over the water at the Beach we just came from you can see our hotel and all the people on the beach as the resort starts to come to life we continue to head out over the water I look at the front of the boat and see that there is some net canapé you can lay down on at the front I grab braidon by the arm and take him over to the net I flop down on the net
"Come on brai" I say rolling to give him room to flop down beside him
Braidon blushes a bit at the pet name that I gave him and kneels down and carefully lays down beside me I wrap my arms around him and kiss his forehead he nestles his head in my chest I breathe in his smell he has his ear up to my chest he starts to tap his finger along with the beat of my heart I smile and play with his hair we stay here for about an hour when the boat slows and we begin to dock we stand up and head over to where the crew was finishing up the docking process "thank you guys so much we will see you when we get back"I say shaking there hands me and Shawn walk up a small path leading to an elevated platform looking over the beach there was no one here because I rented it out so we could be alone at the top of the platform there is a table for two set up in the middle of it and there is a small mariachi band in the corner playing slow music we sit down and braidon smiles at me
"You put all this together" he said looking around
"I sure did you deserve the best" I say reaching across and grabbing his hand
The waiter comes up to us and takes our order we eat talking about nonsense pretty much when we're done we went down to the beach and layed down looking at the view well braidon was looking at the view I was looking at him and I kept smiling knowing that he's mine.
