Shawns pov. 

We are halfway home on an airplane I'm shaking so bad I woke up Braidon

"Are you ok?"

"I'm just scared"

"Everything will work out" he insures me

"I love you" i say leaning into him

He welcomes me in his warm embrace we stay in a comfortable silence for the remainder of the flight

When we land we rush out to the streen and i order an uber ant rush to my childhood home i jog to the door and dont bother knocking

"Mom" i shout joging into the kitchen

She stands up from her seat in the kitchen and wraps me in her embrase i can tell she has been crying and i cant see dad any where

"Wheres dad" i ask softly

"He is at the hospital with your sister" my mom chokes "he sent me here to meet you"

"What happened"

"Lets go to the hospital" she says grabing her keys" i grab braidons hand and walk put to the car

For the first few minutes the drive was silent but i couldent handle it any more

"Mom what happened"

She sighs "you sister was on her way home from her freinds house two nights ago and a drunk driver drove up onto the side walk and hit the two of them" she tears up "her friend had an emergency surgury but she didnt pull through and ali is in critical condition"

I drop my head down trying to comprehend whay my mom told me

Braidon puts his hand on my back ti comfort me

"Ahli is strong shawn she will pull through" my mom says pulling into the hospital

I put on my sunglasses as we pull up to the front door i get out and a few fans notice me but i push past braidon stops to explains not a good time and they understand we go through the door to icu and into one of the rooms my dad stands up and wraps me in his arms

"Im so happy your here shawn" he wispers in to my head

"How is she" i ask moving to the bed side

"She still hasent woken up yet but the doctors say she is doing well"

I sit back onto a couch and braidon sits next to me i cuddle up to him

"So this is the guy ive heard so little about" my dad says siting infront of us
