1A.) You can use the "tools" options and can click "selection" in order to crop something to your preferred size. You can also add/blend photos on here. Which includes you are able to erase needless things like someone's signature or logo.

1B.) It could also benefit you through effects like most apps. I use sharpen on this one and increased it to 68. Then I added it to the background.
