Once upon a time, not so long ago, there lived a young, wealthy man. The wealthy man was very handsome... on the outside. His attitude did not match with his looks. His name was Anderson. His family was very rich, so it's not a surprise that he, even though he is just 18 years old, was also rich.

He doesn't live with his family anymore; they wanted him to be independent. Although, Anderson wasn't thought good morals.

"I feel so tired," the wealthy man muttered to himself.

The man went to the 3rd floor of his mansion. It was the floor where his bedroom is. His soft velvet bed was the colors of maroon and red. Every bit of his room was very detailed.

"Iris!" He called.

"Yes, sir?" The woman, about 26 years old, asked softly. She was a little scared. I mean everyone has at least a little fear of the wealthy man. He was always harsh and he never really thanked any of his maids or servants.

The man remained silent.

"Yes, sir?" Iris repeated again.

"Do you seriously do not know what to do?!" He scolded.

Iris thought for a moment, and that's when it hit her.

"Ah! Your night clothes, I am sorry, sir." She said as she ran through the door. That's what Anderson usually asks the young woman to do. To bring him clothes.

Iris rushed through the door bringing a soft blue shirt and white pajamas.

"Out," the man said as he shooed poor Iris away.

Anderson changed to his night clothes. After changing, he was feeling a bit thirsty.

"Maude!" He called.

Instead of an old woman, a small boy appeared.

"Where is your mother?!" Anderson growled.

"Sh-she was about to come here," the young boy started.

"And? Why isn't she here?!" Anderson asked impatiently.

"Sir! What do you need?" Maude said as she barged into the door bringing her tray with a cup of tea.

The arrogant guy took the cup of tea from the old woman's tray. He took a sip out of it.

"The tea tastes bland" he complained as he looked at the cup with disgust.

*ring* *ring* *ring*

"Who could be calling at this hour?!" He muttered as he answered his cellphone.

"Sir, you must go to the ground floor. There is a woman asking for help," Keith, the guy who called him, said.

"I do not help!" He said arrogantly.

"Yes, sir, I said that to her, but she still insists to ask for help."

Anderson groaned and ended the call. Before going downstairs, he dismissed Maude.

As he reached the ground floor, he went to the door. There he saw an old, ragged, helpless woman, with a rose on her hand.

"Please..." The woman pleaded.

"What do you want woman?!" He asked angrily.

"I am lost. I cannot find my way home. May I please seek shelter in your home?" She asked sadly and presented the rose.

The wealthy man was angry and confused.

"I will give you a rose in exchange for shelter," The old woman said.
