INTERVIEW WITH: Loversgonewild
1) What's behind your username?
Loversgonewild: Nothing serious. I just picked up a name randomly since my real name sounded a bit boring. Loversgonewild is an interesting name, is it not? It's quirky and I'm happy it popped into my head.
2) What country are you from?
Loversgonewild: I am from India. I am a proud Indian. :)
3) Why did you join wattpad?
Loversgonewild: Okay let's be honest here. I joined so that I could get noticed (lol) and I love reading books. Since wattpad offers free stories to read, who wouldn't want to join? Also I love to write. So wattpad offered me that platform to get my stories published at free of cost. I could always make new friends too. ^_^
4) What was it like when you first started writing?
Loversgonewild: Well, writing on wattpad was a new experience to me. At first when I started writing, there would be only 1 or 2 views, no votes or comments. I was like - Do I really write so bad that no one wants to read it? Then as I started getting accustomed to the concept of wattpad, I got to know that you have to keep poking people to read your stories, you have to come up with deals like follow for follow and you have to continuously socialise. It gets tiring. Phew!! Even now I don't have that many followers, reads, votes and comments. So I guess it will take time, but I'll get there. Its only been 1/2 month that I have started writing. Woohoo!!! That was a long answer. I didn't know that I can talk that much. *pats on the back*
5) Who is your favorite author here on wattpad?
Loversgonewild: I don't really have any favourites. As long as I'm not reading any paranormal stuff I am fine. Okay, so if I have to choose then there are these two authors : 1. @Blondeanddangerous who wrote 'The Curves Ahead' ; 2. @HIndia150 who wrote 'The Highlander's Bride'.
6) Where do you get your ideas from?
Loversgonewild: From my own unpredictable creative paradox mind. ;) Haha. In short from my own thoughts and imaginations. :)
7) How do you deal with Writer's Block?
Loversgonewild: Well I haven't had a writers block till now, so don't know how I would be dealing with it. But that's sure that I would be seriously frustrated for not being able to come up with ideas. Maybe I would bang my head against the wall. *Laughs*
8) (BONUS!) What was your most embarrassing moment ever?
Loversgonewild: Okay so when I was in my sixth grade I had come to know about porn. So once, in my room I was busy watching a video on tube8 on my PC but I didn't notice that my mom was standing just behind my chair. But when I turned around I was like - Oh my God! In a hasty attempt to shut down the PC, I knocked down the keyboard and some of the keys popped out. Yeah! This was the most embarrassing moment ever. Since then I never watched porn again. LMAO.
9) Are there any stories that you're working on that aren't published yet?
Loversgonewild: If you are asking as in wattpad, then I am working on a story where I want to portray the hard life of women in prostitution. They are never given the respect in our society. We often look down our nose in a derogatory manner and give others the example that if we don't work hard we will become like those women where we would have to trade our bodies in exchange of money. So I would just say that we have already formed an image in our minds that they are bad people and so to keep up with the image they act that way. We are busy judging them even when we don't know a thing about them. Everyone has a past. People just doesn't go out and choose to do something, everybody needs a trigger.
I know it's a rather complicated topic and I would try not to offend anyone through my writing.
10) Is there anything you would like to add? Any advice or other things you would like to share to our fellow wattpaders here?
Loversgonewild: I would request my fellow wattpaders to read my stories and I hope they enjoy reading them. Talking of advice, I am not that good of a writer to give advice but I would still like to say something here. Write for yourself and don't think about whether others are going to like your story or not. Take up any plot that comes in your mind and start penning down your thoughts. Don't overthink it. Write because it makes you happy, write because you love writing.
*smiles*
