Brom cantered ahead of Eragon, waiting for him to catch up. Eragon paused. “Brom.”
“What is wrong?”
“There's a person over there. He looks lost.”
“Well… we can help him a bit if you want.”
“Umm, excuse me? Where am I?”
“You're in Alagaësia. My name's Eragon, what's yours?”
“Mum's going to kill me.” The boy muttered. Then he turned to Eragon. “I'm called Albus. Can I travel with you guys?”
“Well…” Eragon started.
“I can do magic well.” Albus interrupted.
“Fine, I am Brom. Come with us.” The mentor-like man instructed.
