"You did amazing out there," I complimented Sean after his performance. He sat down beside me to join Jace, Ava and I on the table.

"Thank you, Miss." Sean smirked.

"You know I'm not surprised. When I first heard you sing in the car I already knew how amazing you are," I continued complimenting him. It's true. Anyone in the room will agree with me. "I can already imagine you having your own concerts, fans yelling and crying for your name, and tons and tons of awards. Don't forget me when you get famous." I winked.

Sean laughed. "So will you be my number one fan then?" he joked. "I should see you in the front row every time."

"Oh of course," I grinned. "You can expect me there. Trust me, I will not miss any of your concerts. Not even one."

"If you're talking about your number one fan that should be me," teased Ava.

We all laughed. The waiter came serving us drinks. I grabbed the glass filled with margarita, when Jace stopped me. "What do you think you're doing?" He rosed his brows at me, while taking the glass on my hands. "Aren't you only turning 21 soon?" Jace asked.

"How'd you know?" I looked at him with a confused look, wondering how he found out about my birthday. I don't remember telling him, or even mentioning anything about it. I took a deep breath. "Dad?" I sighed, when I realized.

"Well I am not gonna allow you to drink on my watch," says Jace.

"It's just margarita." I rolled my eyes.

"Still consist of alcohol," Jace corrected.

"Here. Have my iced tea," offered Sean with a grin on his face. I rolled my eyes again.

"Wait, you're turning 21 soon?" asked Ava. "When? Do you already have plans on your birthday? We should go to..."

She was about to continue but Sean went in between her sentence. He chuckled. "Don't get ahead of yourself, Ava."

"What?" she rolled her eyes. Sean gave her a look. "I'm sorry, just got excited. When is your birthday? And do you have plans?" She turned to face me.

"July 26th." I smiled. "Honestly, I don't have any plans yet."

A smile formed on Ava's face. "Great. Give me a call when nothing comes up and we'll do something, the four of us."

"I apologize for Ava's behaviour," says Sean while shaking his head. "She has this whole idea of a double date in her head."

Ava playfully hit Sean's arm. "I do not! I just wanna get to know her, you know, spend more time. I'm just trying to make friends, plus she could use it since she doesn't know anyone here."

Sean laughed. "Are you sure you're talking about Zoe? My guts tells me that you're referring to Jace." He grabbed the food on his plate as he started eating.

Ava rolled her eyes. "Sorry. Sean here loves to make jokes. He enjoys embarrassing me in front of other people."

Jace laughed. "For a second I thought she was talking about me too," he says to Sean, mocking Ava. She rolled her eyes at the both of them.

I chuckled. "Okay boys, that's enough. Stop making fun of Ava now."

Ava mouthed thank you.

"Can never win against girl power," commented Sean.

I gave him a look, agreeing on his statement, while Jace and Ava laughed. The four of us continued talking, wasting time making fun of one another, well most likely Ava and Sean. They couldn't stop telling embarrassing stories about each other. Just by listening to their stories, I could really tell how close they are to each other even though they don't have the same set of parents. Sean's father had a mistress before he was born. He got his mistress pregant, and she gave birth to Ava. I'm amazed that both of them are in good terms, and that Sean and his mother welcomed her to their life. If it was my mother, she would go crazy. She's really not a fan of mistresses.

Hours flew by, and we decided to leave. The four of us said our goodbyes.

"Aren't you heading to your room yet?," Jace asked when we got in the hotel's lobby.

"In a bit," I answered.

"Okay. Goodnight," he smiled.

I smiled back at him before he headed to the elevator up to his room. When he left, I walked myself to the pool area where I know Connor would be. I was right. He was sitting down on the lifeguard chair. It was like the first night all over again.

Connor smiled widely when he sees me approaching him. I waved, smiling back at him. He then got down on stand where he was sitting. "How was your night out with your new friends?" he asked, emphasizing new.

I rose my brows at him. "It was alright. I had a good time," I answered.

"That's good," he smiled, although by the tone of his voice, he was being a little bit sarcastic. "I'm glad you have new people to spend time with. I can't even imagine spending so much time in the same place, barely knowing anyone. You must be very bored of this place already."

I scoffed. "What? You're wrong." I rolled my eyes. "I mean, am dying of boredom here, but I was fine when I only had you to hang out with."

Connor smiled. "Good. I'm still in duty, so I should head back."

"Oh right. Of course."

"Hey," he called out before I turned around from him. "I'm off tomorrow. I'll meet you at 7 in the morning, we're gonna go on a road trip."

"To where?" I asked.

"You'll find out tomorrow."

I shrugged, and gave out a smile. "Okay."
