One of my favourite films ever had to this one called Perks of Being A Wallflower.
I feel like it's based in my life and I am Charlie. Except I'm a girl called Maddison. Maddie for short.
I don't have a sister dating a guy called 'Ponytail Derek'. I have twin brothers Levi and Logan, who as far I know are both single.
I wasn't referred to the mental health hospital because my friend commited suicide, but because of other things. Things I'd rather not talk about..
I wasn't sexually abused by my aunt as a child and I have an decent relationship with my parents.
But... I do have mental health problems and I do have to start at a new school, with new people and new problems...
You know... I might find my version of Sam, Patrick, Mary-Elizabeth, Alice and Bob.
But we're not in 90's American book, so there's no chance of a spin off of The Rocky Horror Picture Show called Punk Rocky.
There's one thing that is for sure... I definitely am a wallflower...
