Chapter 5 : Decision

Lucy POV
It's been a month since our birthday.
Today gramps is going to announce the participants for the S-class trials.

Gramps yells "LISTEN UP BRATS .
THE PARTICIPANTS FOR THE S-CLASS TRIALS ARE :
NATSU DRAGNEEL
GRAY FULLBUSTER
JUVIA LOCKSER
ELFMAN STRAUSS
CANA AlBERONA
FREED JUSTINE
LEVY MCGARDEN
AND MEST GRYDER
Everyone cheers for the participants.

"ERZA, MIRAJANE AND GILDARTS WILL HELP WITH THE TRAILS .
AND I WILL BRING A FEW OTHER MEMBERS WITH ME .
YOU HAVE 1 WEEK TO TRAIN ".

Everyone is shocked.
"Who else are you going to bring master" Mira asks.
"I will bring Wendy, Lisanna, Bixlow, Gajeel, Evergreen, Laxus, Happy, Carla and Pantherlily" gramps says.

After his announcement we sat down.
"He chose Natsu, Gray and Cana but not Lucy and Crystal.
That's just unfair" Lisa says.
"Yeah you girls deserve it way more that them" Bixlow claims and everyone agrees.
"Actually master was going to choose us.
But we told him not to".

They look at us like we were crazy.
"But why ?
Getting chosen for the S-class trails is a huge deal.
Only a few gets chosen each year and most of the time no one becomes an S-class wizard" Laxus says.
"We have a few reasons.
And master knows we can't go there" Crystal says.
"But we're not telling you why".

"Hey look the loser twins are sad because they didn't get chosen" Aki says.
Everyone except our friends laugh .
"That is it .
I'm shutting him up" Crystal says.
Our friends give me what-does-she-mean look .
I give them a I'm-not-sure look.

Crystal POV
Aki is really getting on my nerves.
"Requip : Sirens Call".
I point  Sirens Call at Aki.
He looks confused, good.
"MUTE" I yell and a shiny silver light heads towards him.

After the light died Aki looks okay.
He laughs but you can't hear a thing.
The entire guild is speechless.
"Okay Aki is only one that can't talk.
The rest of you still can, so move along".
"WHAT DID YOU DO TO NATSU" Indigo yells.
"Relax Indigo I only made him mute for a day.
His voice may come back in 24 hours.
Enjoy the silence while you can, because it may never happen again".

When I got back everyone laughs.
"What's so funny".
"You just silenced the loudest idiot of the guild.
He can't even use his magic or say a come back" Gajeel says laughing.
"Can I see the weapon you used" Mira asks.
I nod and requiped Sirens Call.
"It's a beautiful dagger" Wendy asks.
"It is but unlike other weapons this one can use magic".
"So it's like magical item" Carla says.
I nod.

We talk and had fun till 9.30 pm.
"We should go home".
"Yeah it's already late.
See you guys later" Lucy says.
We wave our friends goodbye.

We walked home while talking about going back home.
"It's almost time".
"Yeah just 1 more week" Lucy says sighing.
"I know your sad Lucy, I'm sad too but you know it must be done.
Besides they're not gonna die.
They'll just sleep for 7 years.
We'll see them again" I say trying to cheer Lucy up.
"I guess your right.
And could use the the time to train more to get stronger" Lucy says smiling.

We arrive at her apartment and unlock the door.
We shower and eat dinner.
We're now laying on her bed.
"Hey Lucy do you want to go to another world".
"Hmm yeah I would like to go.
Why" Lucy asks.
"Well mom and dad told me that there is another world called Earth".
"Just Earth" Lucy asks.
"Yeah just Earth.
Anyway they asked me if we both would like to go there".
"Sure I never been there so why not.
When are we going" Lucy asks.
"We're in 7 years".
Lucy raised an eyebrow.
"7 years but that's too long" Lucy says.
"Yeah I said that too.
But mom and dad said that their world is more that 1000 years ahead of us".
Lucy's eyes widen "More than a 1000 years".
I nod  "Also we'll send clones after Mavis puts them to sleep.
Mom and that said that a year in Earthland is 2 years on Earth .
The clones will be you and me.
We'll be new born babies and our parents will make our name famous".
Lucy nods and says "I hope everything goes well".
