Krestena's Second Year: Book 2

Manor and Diagon Alley

Krestena's POV

I've been at Malfoy Manor for a day and Aunt Narcissa is lovely. But Uncle Lucius is trying to make me think like him. Draco and I have played some one on one quidditch. Our letters arrived and we are going to Diagon Alley today. Fred and George sent me a letter saying their family were going today also along with Harry. I asked Dobby to pack my things and send them back to Uncle Remus' as I was going home after the trip to Diagon Alley. I know I had only been here a day, but I miss Uncle Remus and he's all by himself.

"Krestena Father wants to do if you are ready?" Draco states/asks as he appears at my door. "You're leaving?" he asks with a frown.

"Yes, dear cousin it was agree I only spend one night after all. Don't worry we'll see each other at school and yes I am ready" I tell him. Draco leads me downstairs where his father my uncle was waiting in an armchair with his to Irish Wolf-hounds. They also have some peacocks that roam the estate.

"Good you're ready, I trust the elf has packed your things" Uncle Lucius states standing up. I nod my head and he holds a out both his arm while holding his wand in the other. Draco grab his arm while I grabbed Aunt Narcissa's when she entered the room. They apperated with Draco and I to Diagon Alley.

"Come Krestena, I trust you have your key" Aunt Narcissa states. I looked at Draco and Uncle Lucius who were walking the opposite way. "Lucius has some business to attend to, they'll met you in Flourish and Blotts" she explains. "While you're all there I have something else to attend too" she adds and I nod my head in understanding.

We went to Gringotts and I showed my key to the goblin at the front desk. "Does Miss Black wish for Mrs Malfoy to accompany her?" the goblin asks.

"No, I'll be fine I went by myself last year" I tell both the goblin and Aunt Narcissa. She looked a little hurt but states she has to go to her vault anyway. So she showed her key and two goblins came to show us to our vaults. Aunt Narcissa left first as hers is deeper down and then I went with my goblin.

"Key please" the goblin says as we reached my vault next to Harry's. I see Harry and the Weasleys. I give the goblin my key saying I'd be back in a second. I run and give Harry a big hug which he returned.

"I'm glad you're okay, I'll see you all in Flourish and Blotts" I tell him and the Weasleys. They nod their heads and I went into my vault. I put 35 galleons, 25 sickles and 15 knuts in my money pouch. The goblin then took me back up and Aunt Narcissa arrived shortly after I did. We went to get me new shoes, parchment, ink bottles, owl treats, and replenished a few potion ingredients. She then dropped me off at Flourish and Blotts where I met Draco. We went upstairs to avoid the crowd that wanted autographs from some famous author that was here today.

"Who do you think will be our new Defense teacher?" I ask Draco as we watched the signing from above. I had decided not to get the Gilderoy  Lockhart books as they practically story books. I bet he did none of the things in it. So I got 'A Vampire's Monologue' by Amarillo Lestoat, 'Hairy Snout, Human Heart' by Anonymous, and 'The Dark Forces: A Guide to Self-Protection' by Quentin Trimble instead.

"Probably witch with all the Lockhart books" Draco replies. Just then we saw Harry getting his photo taken with the famous author and given all the Lockhart books free of charge. So the author must be Gilderoy Lockhart, he reminds me of Aunt Narcissa's peacocks. Just then Harry and Weasleys go to leave, and Draco goes downstairs. This isn't going to end well I thought to myself as I follow him.

"Bet you loved that didn't you Potter, famous Harry Potter can't even go into a book shop and not make the front page" Draco sneers as he blocks Harry's exit.

"Leave him alone" a small red haired girl tells Draco. She must be Ginny, Fred and George have told me about her. She was starting at Hogwarts this year and the only girl in the family aside from their mother.
