That night, they were having fun outside, by the beach. They had a barbecue, which was all done by the boys. The girls, Dahyun and Sinb wanted to help, but the boys prevented them. So, they entertained themselves by walking around, playing with the beach water.
"So.. how it's going with Jackson?" Dahyun asked, starting a conversation.
"Good! He seems more cheerful, thanks to you!" Sinb then hugged Dahyun. Dahyun responded the hug then they broke the hug when they heard a phone ringing.
"Ah, Sinb. I need to take this phone call" Dahyun said, after checking her phone.
"It's okay. I'll go to the boys first. Don't walk around to far!" Sinb then ran to the boys, leaving Dahyun alone.
Dahyun picked up the call and a loud cry can be heard " Dahyunieeeeeeeee! I miss you! "
"Hey, calm down. I don't wanna be deaf."
"Huhu. Don't you miss me?"
"Of course, Pinky. I do miss you. We, do miss you. You wanna talk to Boo? I'll hand my phone to him if you want to. He's here too"
"Ah, I don't really miss him, he just called me yesterday just to annoy me. eh? I heard wave sounds. You're at a beach? Wow. I wanna go there too. Huhu"
"When you're back, we'll surely go. Ah... I miss you. When will you come back?"
"About that, hehe. I.."
On the other side...
"I think these two have cooked enough. So, we're done." Jb said, checking the grilled stuff, including seafood, chicken, and beef meat.
"Yes! Finally. wow, it looks delicious. Vernon, platters!" Jackson acted as a second boss here, directing people around. As a good junior and younger brother here, Vernon and Boo just followed their directions without complaining. Just kidding. Only Vernon who did his job without a single complaint.
Sinb just sat around the campfire they have made, warming herself. Sometimes, she hummed a lullaby. Her peace was then broken by those boys, who came with noises. They brought those barbecues with them, along with sauces, drinks, and snacks. The boys who were about to sit realized that someone was missing. 'where's Dahyun?'. They were about to ask when they saw Dahyun walking to them from the beach.
She then joined them. Jb gave her a plate of barbecue and sat beside her, making her parted away from Boo. "where were you just now?" Jb asked, showing his worry.
"I was walking around with Sinb, then I got a phone call from a friend," Dahyun said, honestly. But, her honesty seemed to befall under suspicion. All of them turned to her and asked, "friend?" Jb and Sinb asked. Then Boo asked, "friend?". Vernon may don't ask, but only God knows how curious he was.
"Guys! let her have some privacy " Jackson saved her. Yes, he may be crazy, but he can be the most mature one. Sometimes. Dahyun then smiled at Jackson, which Jackson replied with a dance. See? Not even a minute, he was back to his common self.
They had their dinners and now they were just sitting by the campfire. Sinb sat with Dahyun as they were sharing a blanket and the guys separated into two, Boo and Vernon, Jb and Jackson. Jackson then took out his guitar and started to sing.

Sinb was feeling embarrassed but she likes it. She replied with "I love you too!" they both got loud cheers from the others.
Then, the show continued with Jb. He whispered something to Jackson. He took a deep breath before he fixed his gaze to Dahyun and started singing.

After that, there was silence. They were lost in their own thoughts. Jb who was trying hard to give Dahyun a clue about his heart, Dahyun who actually realized it for a long time felt guilty towards Jb, Boo who didn't actually care about Jb but felt pity for Dahyun and Vernon who was burning inside watching how bold Jb was. Only Sinb and Jackson who was cheering to lit up the situation.
Vernon suddenly sang making their attention shifted on him.
"How about you?

As he finished singing, he received cheers from others. Except for Dahyun and Jb. Vernon stared at Dahyun who was sitting across him for a long time. Dahyun couldn't help but trapped in his gaze. Both of them got teary eyes, but it was different. Vernon with a hoping look and Dahyun, the upset one.
Jb who saw the tension between both of them went to Dahyun. "Hey, what's wrong?"
"Ah, nothing the smoke went into my eyes. Haha. Let's eat?" Dahyun said, smiling.
Jb ruffled her hair, told her to wait while he brings her some of the BBQ. He shifted his gaze to Vernon and saw Vernon was watching him. They walked past each other, trying to avoid any interaction.
All of them were having their meal in a harmonious circumstance until it was quite late and the girls excused themselves to their room. The boys then cleaned up their mess before getting inside.
"Huargh~ I'm sleepy. Goodnight you all" Boo yawned then walked to the villa. Jackson joined him, leaving those two. Being a gentleman he is, Vernon helped Jb getting the appliances inside. After they were done, Vernon was about to go to his room when Jb called him,
"We need to talk."
