I wasn't born like these

My upbringing wasn't out of the blue and full of peace
Went to school, 
Graduated and joined the corporate world

All things were fine
Until this one morning
When i saw her across the road
Instantly i was possessed by what i couldn't name

My mind was struck with madness
My heart dancing to two tunes
Nervous excitement
Something new
I wasn't born like these

If it was from birth
I would long got medicated
And a name figured out
For this new bother of mine

I saw her again the following week
At the reception
Eyes went blind
She only was worth seeing
