"who is it?" i shout.

"caleb!"

whys caleb at my door?

"come in," i sigh.

"beatrice! help! tobias got shot!"

i swear my heart skips a beat.

"no! is he okay? take me to him!" i say, springing from the bed.

"😏 april fools," he smirks.

"what the? that's literally so not funny! caleb! i was really, really scared!" i yell.

he shrugs and walks off.

---

knock knock

"come in," i say.

"christina! we need to run! there's a gas leak!"

i jump up, scrambling through my drawers for a few things, then make my way to the door where caleb stops me.

"move!"

"christina guess what."

"what?!" i say impatiently.

"😏 april fools," he smirks.

"caleb. how the hell is that funny?"

he shrugs and walks off.

---

knock knock

"who's there?"

"it's caleb. open up!"

i grunt, leave the comfort of my mattress, and open the door.

"what do you w-"

"WE NEED TO GO PETER! THE FRINGE PEOPLE ARE INVADING AND WE'LL ALL DIE!"

shit.

"okay! let me get my shoes !"

i tie them as fast as possible & ran to the door, where caleb holds a hand out.
.
"caleb! we're leaving! move!"

"😏 april fools," he smirks.

"leave or i swear ill slap the smirk off your face. why would that be funny?!" i shout.

he shrugs and walks off.

"literally no one here can take a joke, jeez," i hear him mumble while walking away.

---

knock knock

"who's there?"

"christina!"

"oh, come in."

"hey caleb. i'm going to be straight forward. would you like to go out to dinner tonight?"

"m-me? out with you? tonight?" i stutter.

"yes, that is what i just said. just in a more awkward way," she laughs.

"o-okay! see you!"
