[Vincent's POV]
As I was about reach my pen on the desk, the pen wasn't where it should be.
"Hey, I could've sworn I..."
My desk suddenly becomes a mess. I quickly arranged my desk before grabbing the pen, which I normally intended to do.
I went up to Christine's desk.
"Well, as I was saying, we're going to go through this and copy edit. Like this."
I motioned Christine to watch as I scan the pages, occassionally circling something important and telling her to write it down.
After that, I went up to my desk again.
"The desk is a mess again." I'm really confused about whats happening.
"I'm sure... I... Um... Never mind."
I tried to organize it again. I shook my head and returned to Christine. We scan the manuscript for about half an hour.
I started talking.
"I think you've got the idea down. You don't have to worry about finishing this, though. I'll finish the rest of the edits in my own time. I have an another task for you to do."
