Familiar of Zero: Back and Forth

Chapter 5

Saito's P.O.V.

"Hey guys could you please knock it off. It is starting to get annoying when I see you two like that!" Kirche reprimanded me and Louise.

"It wasn't my fault she's like that!" I replied still angry at my 'Master'.

"Do whatever you want you stupid familiar!" she said with an angrier expression than mine.

"Yeah I wish that I really didn't met you! All you did was yap and yap about this and that. I'm a human too so I get tired and sick of this!" I yelled.

Sheesh. How the hell did it turn out like this?! A while ago we were traveling in this woods to find the town queen Henrietta speaks of and now I'm in this tense atmosphere with this girl.

Well let me explain this clearly by telling you what really happen before.

"Well it looks like we're here already" Kirche said while looking at the map the queen gave us.

"Are you sure this is the place? All I can see here is trees. Many TREES..." I intentionally said the word 'trees' twice for them to see.

"Slyphid cannot land in here. We are gonna walk on land" Tabitha said while pointing at a flat area where her familiar can land. She guides the dragon towards it and landed. Then Louise said. "Okay now we are ready to go!" she said with excitement as she raise her wand in the air.

"You coming down or what?" I told her. Everyone except her was off the dragon. She was embarrassed that she's not able to look at me. "Hey" I said again.

"I'm fine! I can handle myself!" she immediately said shouting. She jumped down from the dragon and walked away from me.

"What's up with you?" I asked but it feels like I'm talking in thin air.

"Now now you two. You're quarelling like idiots." Kirche commented about us.

Louise started behaving like that after we finished our last mission. What is the thing that triggered her to change? Maybe when I cofessed to her that I really do like her. Then I gave her a hug saying " I don't want you to leave my side. I always thought that you hate me bacause of the cruel things you've done to me" After that I did'nt get a reply. Of course every girl out there would be surprised if someone confessed to them!

And that's the whole story up till now. Maybe I'm rushing a bit too much that she can't keep up with my pace.

*sigh* "We're just circling around this area many times. I remembered the mark that I left on this tree a few minutes ago" I said.

"What's wrong with this forest it's like a maze unable to be solved" Louise replied.

We each had a depressed looks on our faces. We are about to lose hope when suddenly we heard a sound from afar.

*kssh kssh* it was the sound of the leaves from the trees. It was coming to our way.

We let our guards up and weapons ready if it is an enemy.

The sound is getting closer. Then out of one of the bushes behind us came out someone.

"Hey!!" Kirche quicly turned around and shouted poining her wand at the person.

A girl came out of the bush. She covers her head scared of the threat Kirche gave her.

"Wait Kirche. I don't think she is an enemy" I told her. I ofered my hand to help the girl stand up.

"Sorry we didn't mean to scare you" I said to the trembling girl.

When she removed her hands off her head she looked at me. She has a long silver hair with a pure black eyes. She held my hand and stood up.

"Who are you anyway and why are you in this kind of place?" Louise asked her.

"Ahh...umm...I'm Felicima. I came from the Town of Ahori" Felicima told us.

"Town of Ahori? I've never heard of that name" Tabitha finally spoke.

"Could it be the Town Of Iroha?!" Louise questioned her. What brings her to tell it was the town of Iroha?

"Um..actually it was" Felicima replied.

"What?! How come it was the town of Iroha?" Kirche told her with a surprised look. Well actually the name Ahori is the reverse of Iroha. Nice.

"We call our town in two names: Ahori and Iroha. For outsiders it was called Iroha but for us in this town we call it Ahori" she replied.

"Then could you please help us go to your town?" Louise asked.

"Okay. Then please follow me" she agreed. She turned to the opposite direction and started walking.

We followed her lead. Actually she's a nice girl.
