-A Week Later-
"Alright, Zaria. Would you like to get some ice cream?" Alexander asked me after I got into the car. I nodded, and squealed like a little kid. "I'll take that as a yes." He smirked.
We got to McDonald's a few minutes later.
"Hi. Welcome to McDonald's. What can I get you today?" Asked the operator.
"Two M&M McFlurries and a water." Alexander said.
"You may proceed to the first window. Have a great day." Alexander shifted into drive, and then pulled up to the first window.
"You're total is 5.68." said the person at the next window. Alexander pulled out a ten dollar bill and handed it to him.
"Your food should be ready at the next window." The person at the window gave us the most fake smile I've ever seen as we pulled up to the next window.
"Two M&M McFlurries and a water?"
"Yes." The person who's name tag read 'Aleksia' gave us our McFlurries.
"I'm sorry, but you look very familiar. What school do you go to?" She asked me.
"Richmond High." I said cautiously.
"Oh! I think we have English together. Zaria, right?" She asked. I nodded. "I'm Aleksia Toll."
"It was nice to meet you, but we have to take off." I told her looking back at the line of cars. Some of them honked at us.
"Ok. See you Monday?" She asked.
"Yeah, sure." Alexander waved goodbye, and then we left the drive through.

At home I found Carter reading in one of the guest rooms.
"Hey slacker." I laughed. He stuck his tongue out at me.
"I'm not slacking. I already cleaned the house." He informed me. I gave him an impressed look.
"Nice." I walked into my room to see everything organized and put away. I flopped down on my couch and flipped through Netflix. I decided to watch the show The 100 because it looked interesting.
"Zaria." I immediately jumped off of the couch.
"What?" I asked realizing it was just Luke.
"I wanted to talk to you about Liam." He told me.
"Okay, dad." I said.
"I don't think you should go out with him anymore."
"What? Are you serious! What did he ever do to you?!" I asked angrily.
"First of all, he let you walk home, and you almost drown to death." He said in a 'duh' tone.
"I wanted to walk home!" I defended Liam as best I could, but Luke kept giving me reasons to not go out with Liam.
