A small pug was curled at her feet,
A dainty lily placed between its teeth.
A steady drum beat in the distance,
A Christmas nutcracker singing its tune.
Ivy wrapped around the tress like scarves,
Warm Christmas jumpers dawned after a bath.
Warm yellow lights flashing from the fire,
Toasted marshmallows on biscuit beds.
Hot whipped cream in a chocolate pool,
Cotton covered hands.
Wonder lit eyes,
A bearded man in a red suit,
Happy Christmas.
