Her New Reality

Waking up that next morning was.... weird.

Like she still had the euphoria and pure happiness of last night running through her veins, but there was also questions running through her head and her mind trying to process everything.

Her first kiss was with Christian.

Did she no longer have a crush on Ethan ? (The answer she came to was no as it was Christian's face now that gave her butterflies and not Ethan's (she'd never thought she'd say that))

Was Christian now her boyfriend?

How was she supposed to act today?

Should she practice more on the routine that they are going over in class today?

Breathe.

No over analyzing.

One step at a time.

A great first step to the day was breakfast.

She's got this.

When she reached the bottom of the stairs leading outside of the student residences (she though that she'd treat herself this morning to a breakfast at the cafe), her heart beated a little faster when she saw who was waiting for her at the bottom of the stairs.

Christian.

He held out his hand and she took it, walking out together to go eat the first breakfast of the rest of her life.

And if they snuck in a couple kisses and  if his hands now held a new warmth whenever they'd hold her and if he'd shoot her a quick reassuring smile now in class,

She quite liked this new reality.
