Finn's POV
"I need five hundred dollars fast," I said, sternly through the phone.
"Christ, Finn why?"
"Y/n's at the police station and I need to get her out," I replied, Jesus what was with all the questions. "David, can you get me the cash or not?"
"No, I spent the last of my money the last time I bailed you out. I'm sorry, man."
"No, it's fine. I just... Do you know anyone with that kind of cash?" I rubbed my eyes, stressed. God, my head was pounding, but I had one thing on my mind.
"I think Carl might be able to help."
"Fuck." I muttered to myself, "Okay, whatever. Do you know where Carl is?"
"He's with Nona and me."
"Give Carl the phone," I demanded. A few minutes of shuffling occurred before I heard anything.
"Hello?" Carl's raspy voice spoke.
"I need some money, I have to bail out Y/n."
After a while of haggling with Carl, he agreed to help on one condition. Damn him for that and damn me for saying yes... I pushed my thoughts aside because I was on my way to the warehouse to get the money.
Immediately after I arrived, I ran up to the elevator. It began to shake and move, I tapped my foot with anticipation, and gnawed at my bottom lip in sheer nervousness. I don't know why I was so nerved. I'd been bailed out plenty of times and I've helped friends get bailed out plenty of times. Why was I in such a hurry to get her out?
I finally reached the top floor. I ran out and searched every square inch of the roof.
"Carl?!" I cried out. "Where are you!? Goddamn it!" He suddenly immersed from the room.
"Jesus, what's with the yelling?" He groaned.
"Shut the hell up, and give me the money." He placed the five hundred dollar bills in my palm, but when I tried to pull it away, he kept a firm grip on it.
"You gonna live up to your end of the deal?" He said, arching an eyebrow. I sighed, before letting out a hesitant nod. He said nothing more, he just gave a smirk before turning away.

(Seventh Grade)
I sat in the hard seat. My leg shook up and down as I awaited my mother and father.
"Finn?" My mother's worried voice called out. I looked up to see her and my angry father standing over me with the officer who'd arrested me, no more than two hours ago...
"Mom?"
"Take those things off of him!" She burst. She was referring to the cuffs they placed on me. The officer knelt down and removed the tight cuffs. She then grabbed me by the arm, yanking me to my feet, then pulling me into a hug. "Finn Wolfhard you are in so much trouble when we get home." She said in a low voice.
"Ma'am, we're going to need you to sign some paperwork." The lady at the desk said. My mother pulled away from the hug and drug me over to the counter. She slid my mother a few slips of paper. After she finished signing them, she handed them back.
"I'm so sorry to inconvenience you all." My father interjected.
"Don't worry, you'll never see my Finn here ever again..." My mother replied she looked hard at the lady's name tag. "...Florence." She concluded.
