the breeze hit taehyung as he opened his hotel room window. it was more of a suite but he tried to keep modest about himself. for some reason, he really wanted to see the brunette from the night before. he decided that he was going to go to the aquarium and see if he could find the elder. before doing so, he called yoongi and both checked up on each other. yoongi was happy to announce his most hated concept was ending next week. which upset the blonde, as he very much enjoyed yoongi's concept, although he dare not tell him.
taehyung left for the aquarium to find park jimin. it was wednesday and the sea life centre had free entry on wednesdays are sundays, so no one was at the desk. there were no children and they all would've been at school. many couples seemed to be there. was the aquarium really a place for dates? taehyung thought. there really wasn't many people there.
the blonde reached the outdoors part where they kept whales, sea lions, seals and a few other small sea animals like starfish and shrimp. no one was there, probably because it was freezing. then a figure caught taehyung's eye. he was wearing a light blue poloshirt with the words 'ask me about our animals!' printed on the back, and the aquarium's logo on the front's pocket. he was wearing a hat with the same logo but on the back it had the name 'jimin' threaded onto it in dark blue. taehyung walked up to the boy who was now feeding the beluga whale.
"you're interesting, choi." jimin said and then sighed. "oh god, i'm talking to a whale." he chuckled to himself, not realising taehyung was there. his chuckle made the blonde smile. jimin turned around to get more food for the whale from the silvery bucket. then he saw taehyung. his eyes widened and he jumped. since he was standing on a pedestal, he went over the bar and was ready to fall into the whale's tank. taehyung - reacting quickly - grabbed the elder and pulled him. however, he used too much force and the brunette toppled over, knocking them both over and they landed on the concrete. time froze for taehyung. he enjoyed have the elder rest on him. taehyung snapped out of it when jimin lifted his head.
"i-i'm sorry i didn't think i would scare you, oh my god." taehyung frantically apologised. "are you okay?" he had a very obvious worried tone in his voice.
jimin laughed. "i'm fine. that was fun."
jesus christ that laugh could cure cancer. taehyung thought.
"oh, are you sure? can i do something for you? i wouldn't feel right if i didn't." the blonde didn't make eye contact.
"uhh, i'm on my break now. wanna go get milkshakes?" jimin beamed.
