Chapter 6: I love you, Daddy

The next morning I wake up and find Yivi with her hair wet.

"Why are you up so early?" I scratch the back of my head.

"I, uh, took a shower... I was going to make breakfast, but looks like it won't be a surprise." She wavs her hands as in "yay!"

"Don't worry about it. Go make yourself pretty... Oh! Wear your swimsuit under cuz we're going to the beach." I turn my back to make the eggs but I could hear Yivi's silent cheering.

I hope she doesn't know why.

*After breakfast*

"Ready?" I take the beach bag and throw it in the trunk of the car.

"Ready!" With a smile in her face. I closed the trunk and started driving my way to the beach.

~Beach~

I parked the car and got out the sand equipment.

"Yivi? See that big blue shade? Go to it." I send her to the destination.

Yivi's P.O.V

I listened what he said and as I reached my destination... I could feel tears in my eyes about to fall...

"Melissa! Aj!..... You guys are sisters!" I hug them both tight.

"Hey Yivi!.... And yes, we are sisters!!!!" We all screamed and hugged again.

I turn to Tom and jumped onto his arms.

"Thank you... So much!" I whispered in his ear.

"Your welcome.... Anything for my daughter." He held me tight and gently put me down.

"Come on!" I take Melissa's and Aj's hand and run towards the ocean.

"Your dad is pretty cute." Said Melissa.

"Ya, he looks rich too." Aj joined in.

"Ah, he's a police officer, and his house is huge!" I laughed.

We splashed each other and laughed. We also told stories of each other's point of view.

"Alright ladies! It's almost getting dark..." Melissa's and Aj's dad called out.

"Awwww", we all said. Tom seemed to noticed and said,"They can sleep over at my house... They won't be any trouble."

Melissa's and Aj's dad thought for a moment.

"Alright, but don't eat too much candy... I'll drop off their stuff at your house. Ok?" He said to Tom.

"Sure, I'll just keep them busy." He nodded.

"Yay! We're sleeping over and Yivi's house!" We all hugged. I wish we were all sisters than just friends.

Tom's P.O.V

I took the girls to my house and prepared them to watch movies.

Melissa's and Aj's dad dropped off their clothes and they changed into their pjs.

"What movie are y'all going to see?" I ask raising my eyebrow.

"Uh,...... Thor 2?" Yivi gleamed.

"Awesome, you know, Loki is my favorite character..." I walked out and laid on my bed.

~At 1am~

I heard footsteps coming close to my bedroom. I pull the covers and get out of bed.

"Hello, sorry daddy.... Just having a little nightmare.... You forgot to bring my- oh, ok never mind it's here. Thank you. I love you daddy."

Melissa?

"Melissa? Are you alright?" I try not to scare her.

"Yes, I'm fine. Just a little nightmare."

"Mind telling me?" I take her sleeping pills....(not drugs!)

"I guess..... I dreamt about how our real parents came looking for us.... But we're already adopted.... And now, you have to choose who to stay with..."

I took a glass of water and gave it to her with her pill.

"I'd say, stay with the person they love mostly.... Whose always been there for you. And, if your parents left you.... Why would they?"

I patted her back and guided her back to the couch.

As I walked to my room, I hear a her say,

"Has Yivi called you daddy yet?"

That question killed me. I wanted Yivi to call me that one day. Will it kill her to say one word?

"She will soon, and I know it."
