present time. . .

"And that is the very, very
long story of how me and
mommy got to where we
are today." I kissed my
daughters fore head as I
continued to gently pat her
butt and rock her in my arms.
She was such a tiny little
piece of human, cradled
and snuggled into my chest,
it made my heart happy.

"You're so good with her."
I looked up to see Noah
leaning on the door frame
with her arms crossed and
a smug grin on her face.

"How long have you been
there?" I asked nervously.

"Practically the whole time.
We've come a long way in
four years Josh." she looked
around at the room decorated
with different animals and
flowers, which Sarah, Cait,
and Jenna helped with.

"Yeah we have.
She'll probably never hear
the entire story again but hey,
it got her to go to sleep." I
stood up carefully, making
sure not to wake Luna up.

That's her name, Luna.
The reason behind that?
Noah has always had a
fascination with the night
and outer space.
Like I've said before, she
was nyctophilic.
She even got a small tattoo
of a planet, more specifically
Saturn, on her wrist.
Of course her nickname for
me has always been Starboy,
so we figured the only thing
that was missing was the moon.
Thus, the name Luna came
off as the best, most
meaningful thing we could
name our daughter.

"I can't believe how good
she was today.
I thought for sure she'd get
cranky with everyone all
over her." Noah watched
as I gently placed her in her
crib and covered her up.

"Nah, I'm pretty sure she
was drunk off of apple juice.
But hey, great party.
You did good with the
whole set up and stuff."
I finally turned to my
beautiful wife, who may
I add, still looks amazing
even after the baby.
She was still glowing, skin
smooth, and my new favorite
part about her was the baby
fat and stretch marks that
remained after Luna.
She worked hard to lose most
of it, which she did, but I
loved and still love her no
matter what she looks like.

"Thanks babe.
We all know the real reason
Brendon came down though."
she giggled at the memory
of just how excited Brendon
was when he saw me.

Today Luna turned one year
old and we had invited
everyone to celebrate with us.
Tyler, Jenna, Brendon, Sarah,
Caitlyn, Dallon, everyone
came out, even new friends.
Unfortunately, I had lost
most contact with Kian but
I was thankful for the friends
who stayed with me.
They actually all moved
here just so we'd stay relatively
close to each other.

"Can't believe she's one
already." I sighed contently.

"I know, daddy's little
girl is growing fast." Noah
smiled and wrapped her
arms around my neck.
I placed my hands on her
hips and started in her eyes.

"She kind of took my
position though."

"What?" I chuckled, confused.

"Daddy's little girl." she
bit her lip as her eyes
flickered from my eyes to
my lips seductively.
I swallowed hard and
kept quiet.

"You know what?"

"Hm?" I hummed, now
solely staring at her lips.

"I think," she paused
to kiss me passionately.

"We should work on baby
number two, don't you think?"
she smirked and looked down
to unbutton my jeans.
I felt my heart pump faster
and the blood rush through
my veins by my neck.
That wasn't the place the
blood was rushing.

"Definitely." I picked her
up by her thighs without
warning, causing her to
squeal and giggle a bit.

"I love you."

"I love you too Starboy."

The End
