I suddenly realized why Sherlock dying was so important.
We didn't want it to happen, but it had to.
Why?
It showed that a man that cared for no one was willing to die for other people.
He did care.
He wasn't heartless.
He couldn't let them die.
A life without them would've been unbearable.
So he pretended like he had committed suicide and told Criscroft- I mean Mycroft- what was going on, getting Molly Hooper to help him.
All to protect a small group of people.
But, get this- it saved more than just them.
I'll let you all think on that.
