"We need to go furniture shopping because we need to start living in our house and Lucas said he would come on his way back" i said
"When is he coming back" brian asked
"I'll text him, get dressed"
Me: when are you coming to stay with us
Lucas🔥: I'm leaving Palo Alto in 3 days so probably then
Me: ok
"Brian he is coming in 3 days we at least have to have our bathroom, one of the upstairs bathrooms, a guest room, our room, the living room, kitchen and dining room done" I said
"Ok, let's go to ikea today then set the furniture up. Then we can go to target and Walmart tomorrow for other stuff" Brian said
"Ok, let's go now"
Once Brian got dressed, we got into separate cars and drove to ikea. We mighty have to make multiple stops. We both have range rovers so we could fit a lot of stuff in. Worst comes to worst we call mama rug or someone.
Once we got to ikea we walked around.
"Babe why don't we try to get everything we need today so we don't have to come back" Brian said
"Ok, can you text your parents so they can take stuff to our house since it won't all fit" I suggested
"Why don't you pick stuff out and then once you have a big amount I will go get it and have my parents and I take it to the house, I'll come back and we can keep doing it" brain said
"Ok, sounds productive"
I picked out every bed frame, bed side tables, and bedroom things. Brian started his rounds. He got everything and him and his parents took it to the house. Ikea is about 20 minutes away from our house. While Brian was gone I picked out a table, chairs, couch, chairs that matched the couch, a coffee table, a desk, a vanity, drawers for makeup, drawers for each bedroom, shelves, and other stuff. Brian got back and I handed him the papers.
How much more do you need to get"
"Just small things and maybe some furniture it depends"
I got organization things for every room in the house, kitchen supplies, bathroom things, rugs, some paintings, and bedding for three of the seven beds. I payed and went to my car.
Me: are you guys on your way back
Brian❤️: not yet
Me: I'm done, I'm on my way
Brian❤️: ok, we will start to build the living room and kitchen things since I don't know where the bed frames go
When I got to the house they had the kitchen table and chairs, the couch, chairs and coffee tables built. I told them where the bed frames, side tables, and drawers went. Mama rug helped me unload my car and get the things in the room they needed to go. We can't put everything away since we don't have everything but we put away what we could.
