Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir (and Cheetah)

Chapter 2: New School

Me and my brother were looking at the school in front of us. It wasn't really bad to look at. What surprised us even more was that we didn't have to wear a uniform. I bit my lip nervously and Jun realized. "Siseu, no need to do that. It's going to be okay.." He said reassuringly. I smiled at him, my brown orbs shining.

I looked down at his bracelet. It had blue beads and a dog head shaped like Anubis. I wish my accessory was as cool as my brothers'. Mine was just a pair of hair clips with two sharp ends. Nothing much than that. We started walking to our classes.

"Miss Bustier's class, huh?" I shook my head. As I looked around for a class with the teacher's name on it. I found the classroom and hesitantly walked in. There wasn't many students here. Some weren't in class, probably talking to their friends.

"You must be Eun-Yeong Ji.." A voice snapped me out of my trance. "U-Um..yes..I am." It was a tall, slender lady with orange hair. She gave me a small smile and led me to the front of the class. I realized that there were a few more students that showed up. 'I guess this is the whole entire class..' I thought.

"Class, this is our new student, Eun-Yeong Ji." Miss Bustier announced my name. The whole class greeted me, some waving. After that, there were some few whispers. I waved back shyly and looked down. "Ji there is an open seat next to...Marinette." She nudged her head towards the directions of a girl.

I looked up and over to the direction. The girl had blue hair with two pigtails and light blue eyes. She smiled brightly and waved. I wearily go over to the connected desk, sitting my bookbag on the floor. I sat in the vacant chair. "Hi! I'm Marinette! It's nice to meet you Eun-Yeong!" She greeted me formally.

I slightly gave off my genuine smile. "You can call me Ji. And it's nice to meet you, too." I went to grab my bookbag and saw it shake slightly. My eyes went wide for a second, but I quickly recovered and unzipped it. I grabbed my notebook and set it on the desk.

"So.." Marinette started. "What country did you come from?" She asked with curiosity in her voice. "From Korea." I bit my lip again. I was really awkward when it came to talking about me. My life wasn't that interesting. But, it seemed that Marinette was determined to know more about me. "Is it cool if we hang out after school?" She asked.

"U-Uh, sure!" I said a bit loudly. I covered my mouth with pink dusting my cheeks. Marinette giggled as we started taking notes.

~After School~

I walked out of the school waiting for my brother to come out. I looked around and spotted a Boulangerie Patisserie. 'Maybe Marinette and I should go there..' I thought. "Ji." I turned around and heard someone call my name. It was Marinette. "Hey." I waved.

She came up to me, linking her arm with mine. "Ready to hang out?" She questioned. Just as I was about to answer, I remembered that my brother was still here. "A-Actually, can we wait for my brother?" She looked at me for a minute. "You have a brother??" She tilted her head.

I opened my mouth to say something, but was interrupted. "Marinette!" I looked over to see a boy with blond hair and light green eyes. "Yeah?" She looked at the boy who only gave her a serious look. She rose a brow and he gestured to a space away from me. Before walking over with him, she gave me an apologetic look.

I watched them have a serious conversation. I saw her give him a stare down. She sighed and walked over to me, sadness filling her expression. "I'm so sorry, Ji. But, Adrien and I have to do something..Can we do it another day?"

"Yeah..sure." I reassuringly smiled at her and she nodded. Her and Adrien ran off together. I guess I can just go the that place with my brother. My bag wiggled slightly and I tched. I went behind a tree and opened my bag. Hadi flew out. "J-Ji! Someone's been akumatized! You have to transform now!" She pleaded.

I gawked at her. "N-Now?? What about my brother!?" I questioned. "He's already there! Just hurry and transform!" I sighed and shook my head. I stood up and said: "Hadi transform me!" Before I knew it, I was in a different outfit. part of my hair (A/N: It's kind of like the extensions in the front but it's real hair) was braided in the front and the rest was a bit longer.

I felt something twitch on my head. I paused and hesitantly rose my hands up to my head. Ears? My mouth gaped opened. "I have ears?!" I was freaking out. I heard several screams from far away. I sighed and decided to head for the sound of screams.
