CHAPTER {3}

Nate's POV

I woke up and grabbed my glasses and dangled my feet over the edge of the bed

I took a glance at Matt, he looked so peaceful in his sleep

I sighed and got my phone from the nightstand and checked the time

It's late the time read '7:43' I have to wake up Matt now or I have to face death itself

I slipped out of my duvet and walked to Matt

I knelt down beside his bed as I gently shaked him while muttering something in the lines of 'wake up Matt'

Once he started to stir I stopped shaking him to grab his water bottle

"Hi Nate, Do you have water" he asked me when I had my back turned to him

"G'mornin Matt here's your water" I said to him as I handed him his bottle

After he finished drinking he wiped his mouth and said to me "what time is it?"

Ah shit

I checked my watch and nervously say "7-7:45"

"What the hell Nate I thought I clearly reminded you to wake me up early!" He said while quickly getting ready to go out

I got my bag and my shoes and the hotel room keys I checked behind me to check on Matt

He was muttering something in a different language that I didn't understand

I walked out of the room and waited near the vending machine in our floor

*Five minutes later*

"Nate!" I heard someone say

Damn my head hurt, I guess I fell asleep without noticing

"Are you alright Matt?" I asked him because he was panting like a dog

"Team rocket's here!" He screamed to me as he yanked me off the seat

I ran as fast as I could at the same time talking to Matt

"Matt what the hell!?!?" I screamed to him as we ran down the stairs of the hotel

Once we passed the clerk desk I threw the keys to him while screaming  "sorry!, Thanks!, goodbye!"

I was now yanking Matt for him to run faster as of now we were neck in neck with each other

"What the hell happened!?!?" I screamed to him as we turned around a curb really sharply

"They broke the window and tried to take my Pokemon!" He said to me while rushing into the pathway to a familiar park

"How many were they and did they take any valuable Pokemon?" I asked to him as he went into a restroom and I soon followed

"Three and no" he said as he motioned for me to come into the stall with him

"What are we d-" a hand flew up to my mouth when a door creaked open

Then everything hit me like a bus

This was the team rocket hideout

I went in here to save Matt

And we might be caught by team rocket

I was cut off from my thoughts when the restroom door next to us creaked open

"Dude are you sure they went this way?"

"Positive"

I clutched onto Matt for my dear life while he was doing the same thing

The door we're hiding in started to shake and I quickly let go of Matt and tried stop Matt's erratic breathing
