blossom/red's POV

Family  what a word it can mean many things it can mean really close friends sometimes it can mean people you love that's related to you or sometimes it can mean people your just related to but don't love or you do love them but they don't in return

to me the word family  means people who stick with you no matter what who don't leave you

that wasn't the case with my "family"

I remember it like just yesterday how can I forget

(before)

I was eating breakfast with my "family" when then on the news they started talking about the power puffs girls  I got excited I never got to see my families reaction to me or blossom which is me so I paid attention to my family's reaction. My sister really seem to adore me as blossom. My mother had a blank expression on her face

" she is cool I wanna be like her when I grow up "said my sister kuriko staring at the T.V

" No you don't she's just a spoiled brat " says my father or step father  my mom married him because she couldn't afford to take care of us alone but I get the feeling he wants us gone what he said made me mad

" what makes YOU think she spoiled " I said looking at my "father" a little angry

" don't you dare talk back to your father " he said getting up from his chair

" your not my father and WILL NEVER BE " I shouted he than slapped me I was shocked  

" GET OUT OF MY HOUSE YOU LITTLE BRAT " he says pointing at the door. I look at my "mother" she does nothing  

" your not going to do anything " I says looking at her in disappointment she just looks down

" I AM YOUR DAUGHTER " I yelled still looking at her she does nothing

" whatever " I say I go to my room grab some stuff and come back and grab my sisters hand but she doesn't move

" hey aren't you coming " I say she looks down  than speaks

" I wanna stay with mama " she says I look down and grab her by the shoulder and look her in the eyes

" if you ever need me or if that man hurts you come to me I will always be here for you do you understand" I say she nods yes I give her a hug before leaving to stay at the professor's lab

( back to the present )

I haven't seen my " family" ever since I don't miss my mom or my step father but I do miss that little sucker of a sister I hope I see her again and I hope she's okay
