The lore of this land is extremely complex and confusing. I can briefly explain the basic timeline and important events, however.
This is what children are taught in school, the stories told at night beside a fire.
This world's story is from ancient documents, and may not be the actual history as it has been previously proven that some ancient scrolls were incorrect in their information. Please take all information given with a pinch of salt.
Due to an abundance of contradictory material, I have narrowed it down to what would be the most likely truth.
Keep in mind that the years used here are not the same as we know.
