I rushed into the hospital room after I saw that girl leave. She looked awful, but I couldn't help but be grateful that she was awake.
"Oh sweetie, you look so much better," my hands automatically went to my face. I had to put on an act, because my daughter is psycho serial killer.
"I wish I felt like it. I'm so confused about everything."
"What do you mean?"
"I didn't kill all those people mom," I couldn't help but feel relieved. Could I actually believe her though? She is my daughter, but something feels off. Our bond is fading away.
"You don't have to lie to me," I couldn't stop the words that fell out of my mouth.
"I'm not lying! I'm telling you the truth! The only person I killed was Piper. I also shot  Ace, but he didn't die when I shot him."
"Ace is dead,"  the words felt like ice shooting out of my mouth. How didn't she know?
"Mom, I know! I just can't believe they think I'm the one who did all of this."
"That's what their evidence showed, I'm sorry," I felt sad for her. She does need to get help.
"You don't understand! You never do!" I can't believe she was yelling at me.
"Where's Molly at?" her question shot at me fast.
"She's a couple of rooms down. She was in shock."
"I need to go see her."
"You're not going anywhere. You aren't allowed to leave this room. Doctors orders."
"This is so unfair!"
"Kady, you are a harm to everyone in here. If you left your room you would be locked up."
"I don't care! I need to see Molly!"
"You can't leave this room! Discussions over," I had to leave the room. I hate having to be so strict with her, but she wouldn't listen.
