Gaston (Gaston X Lefou)

AN: this is a look at Gastons childhood when he first meets Lefou also Lefous real name is Lefay. Lefou is around 10 and Gaston is around 12

Lefou was at the markets looking for a pink ribbon to tie his hair up with when he saw a mop of people mainly consisting of the triplets and other young girls in the village. The triplets squealed running towards Lefou pushing him into the crowd of people,
Lefou had no idea as to why everyone was crowding around and screaming until he herd one of the triplets say
"oh he's so dreamy"
with another girl screaming
"isn't he cute,"
and as if they had rehearsed the whole thing the triplets sang (if you could call that singing)
"hes such a strong and handsome brute."
In all honesty Lefou had no idea why they were making such a fuss over some new people in the village and he was sure that there was no reason for why he was taken away from buying his ribbon.
"Lefou!!" One of the triplets yelled
"Paulette?" Lefou said a bit confused as to why she decided to strike up conversation with him
"did you see him?" She asked
"No" Lefou answered
"Whaaaaaat!" Lunette shrieked (another one of the triplets)
"How could you not" Claudette said (also one of the triplets)
"To think we dragged your ass all the way over for nothing" Paulette said angrily putting her hands across her chest
"It's because you three kept pushing me out of the way!!" Lefou shouted fuming with anger
The triplets stood still in shock with there hands to their sides
"Oh um sorry Lefou" Paulette said sheepishly
"Ah yeah....sorry" the other two said in sync
Lefou turned on his heel and walked in the direction of the markets where his ribbon was sitting waiting for him to buy.

Lefou had returned home, his mother was in the kitchen cooking some lunch
"Lefou" his mother called from the kitchen
"have you herd about the new family who arrived today?" She said as she walked out of the kitchen and into the lounge room were Lefou had just come in, Lefou huffed and folded his arms in response
"oh I see" his mother says with a bit of worry in her voice
"how about you invite their young boy over for lunch, he's about the same age as you" his mother exclaimed
"no" Lefou said in a stern voice with his arms still crossed
"why not?" His mother asked a bit shocked
"because he..." Lefou stopped, unable to come up with a response thinking about the events that unfolded at the markets this morning
"I just don't like him" he pouted with his arms still crossed upon his chest
"oh Lefay" his mother said with a sweet voice caressing his face Lefou huffed again unfolding his arms and looking into his mothers eyes, he hesitated before opening his mouth again
"ok, I'll try" Lefou said uncrossing his arms as he headed out towards the door to sus out the new kid.

Lefou walked around the markets trying to find the new kid when he bumped into something, Lefou looked up to see deep blue eyes staring at him, Holy shit these eyes are gorgeous, Lefou thought as he kept starring into deep blue eyes as vibrant as the sea, after what seemed like forever Lefou took a step back to examine who he had bumped into, tall, young and very handsome boy with the most beautiful eyes in the world and to top it off he had very big and firm arms, the boy he bumped into must be who the triplets we're talking about, after further examining the boy Lefou was certain that this boy is the new kid in the village so he thought to apologise for bumping into him
"Sorry, I didn't see you there" Lefou decided to say while looking up at the young boy's eyes again
The boy just smiled at him and extended his arm for a hand shake
"The names Gaston" the boy exclaimed "I just moved here from the next village over" Gaston said with a bright smile on his face
"Ah, hi my names Lefay but you can call me Lefou" Lefou said reaching his hand out to shake Gastons
"Why do they call you Lefou?" Gaston asked with a puzzled look on his face trying to shake the other boy's hand
"It's just what everyone calls me" Lefou replied with a distant look letting go of Gaston's hand
Lefou remembered what his mother had asked him and decided to act upon it
"Wanna come over for lunch?" Lefou asked trying not to act to optimistic
"Sure" Gaston replied with a slight grin on his face which caused Lefou's face to grow brighter with excitement
And with that Lefou took the taller boys hand leading him towards his house, swerving around trying to dodge all of the villagers along the way.

Lefou opened the door to his house inviting Gaston in and gesturing for Gaston to sit on the couch while he makes his way into the kitchen and greets his mother to tell her the good news of the boy he had met today. Lefou's mother excited to hear that Lefou had brought the boy home with him walked out to greet the young guest to bring him something to drink, she walked towards Gaston with a smile plastered on her face she placed the drink on the table in front of him Gaston gave her a kind smile and thanked her for the drink which caused her to look at Lefou and wonder how he managed to make friends with such a handsome boy, Lefou gave her a look as to say go away your embarrassing me and to which she obliged and hurried back to the kitchen to tend to the food.
"Lefou" Gaston said with his loud and booming voice causing Lefou to rush to the taller boys side "what do you do for fun around here?" Gaston asked looking out the window behind the couch.
Lefou was taken a back by this question and needed to think of an answer worthy of the handsome young boy
"Well, I usually go and tend to the chickens in the morning or go exploring around the forest to find some herbs and wild fruit" Lefou answered looking up and admiring Gaston's perfect hair
"Then we shall do that!" Gaston exclaimed getting up from the couch and beginning to march towards the door with loud thumps, Lefou still standing by the couch shocked at the confidence Gaston is expressing
"Well...? What are you standing their for?" Gaston asks confused as to why Lefou is still at the couch
"Ah coming!" Lefou shouts while rushing towards Gaston
That is the start of Lefou's and Gaston's friendship

AN: hope you liked this chapter and I will be writing the next chapter soon its going to focus on the teenage years (14-16) and Gaston's and Lefou's feelings and also why he chooses to pursue bell
Just letting you know this is based off of the original animated version of the movie and not the live action
