Kuroko's POV

It's been an hour since the surgery started,

I'm still waiting here..

I told Kagami-kun to go he since he needs some rest,

I told the others to go home too but they just wanted to wait for Neesan as well..

I'm glad Neesan and I have friends like them..

" Tetsu-kun" Momoi-san called out,

" Hai?" I asked,

" Here's a coffee, it'll get you up so you can stay awake for waiting for the surgery.." She said and gave me a cup of coffee,

" Arigato Momoi-san.." I said and took it,

" Ritsu-chan have been enduring her pain right now.." She mentioned,

" I guess.. I was supposed to be right by her side to look out for her but now she's.... Hurting..." I said being guilty about my choices..

" Tetsu-kun.. It's not your fault, I'm sure Ritsu-chan wanted you to focus on your dreams and ambitions, so she didn't tell you all this.." She said,

" Yeah.. But my dream is also to make sure she'll have a good life.." I said,

" I'm sure she already had that.. She had a good life with you, her brother..
With Akashi.. With us" She added,

" Yeah.." I said smiling weakly,

Then the door of the surgery room opened, then the head surgeon went out and took off his gloves,

All of us stood up from our position wanting to hear about the result of the surgery,

" What happened doc?" I asked,

" The good news is her condition is fine now, you have nothing to worry about her heart diease no more" He said, resting his hands in his pockets,

" Any bad news?" Aomine-kun asked,

" Well.. One of our surgeons kind'a hit a part that leads to the cerebral cortex of the brain, so there might be some
Change in her memories.. But it's not critical, the percentage where problems can occur is still low so she'll be alright"

( Look here, That name is still unsure k? I just forgot what part of the brain is where the memories are stored , I feel stupid right now!!

I just studied that back on sixth grade!! Stupid, stupid.. *keeps on knocking her head*

" Is she awake?" Nijimura asked,

" No, not yet, she still need some rest, after she wakes up, she still needs to stay for a week for observation" The doctor said,

" But we can see her now right nanodayo?" Midorima asked,

" Of course, Just be careful, her stitch is still fragile so it has to be treated carefully, I'll see you later" He said and left,

I'm glad Neesan is alright..

I have to see her...

I stepped forward for the door and went in seeing her in her white bed with a heart monitor and an oxygen mask,

I wet beside her and sat on a chair and grab a hold on her hand,

Gripping it lightly,

I feel guilty about all this..

I was supposed to be her big brother and I let her be like this...

I can't forgive myself if anything worse happens to her again...

" Hey...Kuroko" I heared Nijimura-san called for me,

I looked at him with an asking expression,

" Don't worry... She'll be alright, She's a strong girl after all.." He said and supportively smiled,

" Arigato Nijimura-san" I said and smile lightly,

" You guys should go home now, all of you must be tired.. Especially you Kuroko, You still have a match with Akashi" Nijimura-san said,

" Ok.. Just please watch over and call me if she wakes up already" I said and stood up,

" Of course" He said and nodded,

" Come on Guys..." Momoi said and followed me on my way out followed by the rest of them,

[3rd person]

" Take care of Okacchi ok Nijimuracchi?" Kise asked,

" Watch over her Niji-chin or I'll have no choice to crush you" Atsushi said,

" Shuzo-san, Please take good care of her" Aomine said,

" Watch over her obediently please nanodayo? And here, This is an aquarious lucky item, leave it on her side nanodayo" Midorima said and gave Nijimura a pair of flower which is Iris,

" Of course, make sure to rest" Nijimura said and waved goodbye to them,

Then Nijimura and Ritsu was left alone again...

Nijimura turned around and faced the sleeping Ritsu,

He walked closer and sat on the chair beside Ritsu's bed,

" Be strong and fight for it please.."

He muttured almost in tears...

" Why did you even turn out like this..?"

" I wanted to say I like you Ritsu.."

" I like you even before..."

" But I thought you would be better off with Akashi.. But why..?"

" Don't go yet please...."

" I can still be your friend but please..."

" Don't go right away..."

He muttured words almost in the verge of tears,

He reached out for Ritsu's hand,

And gripped it like he won't be able to hold it any longer,

Then he felt her hand hold back his hand..

But she's still in slumber...

" *Smiles lightly immediately* You are strong.."

If your strong then just hold on to the light longer..

Show Akashi that your not just a weakling like he said...
