This reminded me of you
I used to think you won't change
Your heart won't change
Your love won't change.
But unfortunately it did
And I really don't know why.
Was the love I gave not enough?
Was it that I was not meant for you?
Was it that I was too weak to handle your love?
What was it?
Whatever it might be,
I had pleaded you to tell me
Tell me where I went wrong
Tell me what was it I didn't give to you
Because as far as I know
I gave my all to you babe
And now I'm left with nothing
No love to give
No songs to sing
No joy to show
No smiles to share
No words to speak
And no heart to love.
But you, you didn't say a word
You stood there like a ghost
Facing your back towards me
Even after knowing I was crying behind
Pleading you to stay
Pleading you to tell me my wrongs.
But you neither said nor stayed
You just left,
Forgetting all the promises we made
Forgetting you said you'd never change
You just left,
Breaking each part of my heart
With every step you walked away.
