The next day, when we were having our breakfast, Ralph who was reading the newspaper said suddenly:

-"NO!"

-"what's wrong?"

-"Mr. Charles..they killed him!"

-"what?"

-"we have to go now... we mustn't waste the time.."

                                                                                ************
As we arrived to Liverpool, we found the inspector Flanangan controling the invistigations. He said as he saw us:

-"Mr. Ralph?"

-"sir, I was working on this matter"

-"what do you mean?"

He told him the summary of the story.

-"but I think there is a mistake in your conclusion"

-"what is it?" Ralph asked simply.

-"you know we didn't let the newspapers publish all the information about the murder of the last boss. That was

because we didn't find anyone who can be the killer"

-"then?"

-"his son became the new boss without telling about the case again"

-"his son!" I cried.

-"yes. The only thing that we found was a sign of marine in his arm"

-"marine...." murmered Ralph.

-"is there anything?"

-"no.. no. I'm just thinking"

-"oh...."

-"do you have any picture of him?"

-"maybe.. it should be in the archives. I'll send it to you when I find it"

-"thank you. Then what happened to his son?"

-"Mr. Scott Bradly has expeled him from his work. Hae said that he a wrangle with a client"

-"and he didn't anything about his father again?"

-"never"

We saw all the rooms but didn't find anything which can help us, so we returned to our apartement. Ralph was so interested that he didn't even speak until we received the picture of Mr. Scott's father. We were so surprised. This man was in the picture which was in the office room!

-"you know? Mr. Flanangan was right when he told me that there is a mistake in my conclusion"

-"and this mistake is....?"

-"as I think, the gang hasn't killed Mr. Charles. The wouldn't write such a letter by someone they don't know"

-"so?"

-"so, if there is no relation between Mr. Charles and the gang, it sould be between Mr. Scott's father and the gang. You know we saw him inthe picture, in addition to the sign they found, which means that he was in marine"

-"but who killed him?"

-"the gang. Maybe he resigned, but they didn't want him to speak about their secrets"

-"but what's the relation between all of this and the death of Mr. Charles?"

-"that's what I'll tell you later. It will be a story from my imagination for you. I need an evidence. Anyway..goodnight"

He was really confused, but I was sure he'll be right. The next day, we went again to Liverpool, but this time was to the work spot. Mr. Flanangan joined us. He said as we entered:

-"excuse me, Mr. Scott. We need to examine the office room, if you don't mind"

-"not at all"

Ralph looked like he was searching for something specefic. He said finally:

-"here is what we need..the evidence.."
